We're back (softly softly, slowly slowly) but now in the northern suburbs of Melbourne!
Years later, having moved across the country and had a lil bub, we are now looking to bring all that is good about sustainable living practices and products to Victoria.
Stay tuned for workshops, the website relaunch, and a new online shopfront to give you all the knowledge, tools, and community you need to tread just that little bit lighter on the Earth.

So we are LIVE! The It's Up 2 Us Campaign has begun and we would love anyone who is keen on working as a community to address the issue of climate change to join us!
Jaime has been working for years as a campaigner, lobbyist and advocate for addressing climate change and leaving a better world for future generations. Now, given our current political climate, she has decided that now more than ever It's Up 2 Us to come together as a community and make the changes needed to ensure a sustainable and prosperous future.
Jaime is offering to spend ONE WHOLE YEAR, FULL TIME dedicated to educating the community, participating in roundtables, lobbying government and industry, and institgating and facilitating community action to address climate change. That's 1,820 hours (yeah, I did the math), on behalf of all of us dedicated to improving our response to climate change. And how much is the investment for our own committed worker who is accountable to only the community? $25,000.
$25,000 buys us Jaime's time, energy, expertise and networks for an ENTIRE YEAR to make a difference. How amazing is that?!
The website is live, the givenow page is live, and having just started we already have $720 in the pot (that's nearly two full weeks, full time climate change action already covered by our community! Only 50 more weeks to go!).
Apart from donating to the campaign, we are also inviting interested peeps to become Campaign Ambassadors who will work to promote the campaign. PM me for a Position Description and I'll send it through.
So check it out! And become a part of a community taking control of what outcomes we want to see in response to the climate change challenge. Because now more than ever; It's Up 2 Us.
It's Up 2 Us!
We are the ones we've been waiting for

"Smart leadership is not about holding onto power. It’s not about coming up with all the answers. Smart leadership is about recognising limits to power and drawing on the collective knowledge and wisdom of others." - 'The Power of Co' TWYFORDS Publications.

We have just made a loan to group borrowers through KIVA in the Democratic Republic of the Congo to be able to purchase beans, groundnuts, oil, etc to run food stalls in their community. Lending through KIVA is an easy and effective way to contribute to capacity building in more marginalised countries.

We show this website to students during the Diploma of Sustainability, but thought that any sustainability minded folk (particularly with an interest in issues around consumption) may find his artwork fascinating. It's amazing what you can do with 29,000 credit cards (and that's just one of them!)

A Unified Theory of Social Change through Harvard Business Review; accessible and absolute gold for the change-makers of the world.
A Unified Theory of Social Change
Most conversations about changing the world eventually degenerate into despair or, after a hands-in-the-air "well, anyway..." segue, they lapse into a conversation about something more practical or pressing. That's because most discussions related to big change are about tactics rather than strategy...
