Shuttlecats is an LGBTQI+ social badminton club for adults located in Naarm (Melbourne). We run weekly social sessions on Tuesdays and Saturdays.

Our club exists to provide a safe space for women, LGBTQI+, and gender diverse people. Shuttlecats is a badminton club for adult q***r women and their allies who want to play badminton in Melbourne. We play on Tuesday evenings, 7:30pm - 9:30pm at the Melbourne Sports and Aquatic Centre in Albert Park, in the Badminton Hall. Check our Facebook events for the latest schedule. Today on the last friday of August we celebrate 💜💜 Thank you so much to everyone who came along and donated to our fundraiser bake sale!!! What a wholesome evening, and a shout out to our incredible bakers!!🧁✨️

Wear it purple exists to remind every LGBTQIA+ young person that they are supported, celebrated, and free to be themselves. 💜🌈

🌈August Social Calendar is coming in hot!! Our main event of the month to look out for is our wear it purple day fundraiser and bake sale coming up on Tuesday the 25th of August!!

The bake sale will run alongside the regular Tuesday night session so we can have a few games with some snacks in between - anyone who wishes to contribute some baking is absolutely welcome and encouraged to bring along a plate of goodies, our committee will be breaking out their best recipes! Cant wait to see you all there!!🍪🧁🍰🏸🏸

🌈We're so excited to announce this winter that we will be increasing the number of courts we have available on Tuesday nights. We have been blessed with the ever annoying problem of selling out in advance and we cannot thank you all enough for your continued support and participation.

❄️ To celebrate this and the continued growth of our team we have a new promo code for wives, girlfriends, friends, and colleagues to use for attending their first ever Shuttlecats night!
