Screen Australia is thrilled to announce the five successful creative teams who will take part in the 2025 Audience Design Initiative! 🎉 Mentored by Síle Culley, the initiative offers the opportunity to gain an increased understanding of audiences in today's globally competitive industry marketplace.

Kill Joy Kathryn Joy was just three months old when her father murdered her mother. After serving just 22 months, he returns to raise her in the same house he murdered her mother in.

We are proud to share the efforts of a 10 month collaboration with 12 women within the City of Hume, who are passionate in raising awareness and the desire to empower women in family violence situations to seek help.

This is an issue close to home for many including some who have recently migrated to Australia.

This is their message.

With the help of a Local History Grant, a series of short films about Aboriginal Elders’ experiences growing up on the Lake Tyers Mission and in improvised bush camps in the 1960s and 70s is being produced as a resource for future generations.
