Slowly disappearing into the ground… and it smells.

Big energy (your soul work) without structure does the same thing.

It becomes diluted, flaky and fluffy.

And eventually you're back at square one,

Rebranding, rebuilding and wondering why the same thing keeps happening.

Kate had the soul work nailed… like I’m talking banging,

The transformation she created for her clients was real.

But she couldn't package it or sell it consistently, so she changed direction, again and again.

Because the dopamine rush is real!

Each time thinking this was flow, this was the right pivot.

It wasn't flow. It was a river with no riverbed.

We didn’t burn it all down and start again.

We didn’t let it run into the ground.

We built the structure around what she already had.

It never is.

I've heard this in some version from almost every brilliant woman I've worked with.
We like to go where the tourists aren’t,

Where the masses don’t go,
We sit on the fringe and we love it,

Too smart for the generic approach, generic doesn’t light our fire.

Usually too real for the performative wellness crowd.

Too experienced to pretend the mainstream stuff works.

So we watch.

We critique or silently get ragey.

We see exactly what's wrong with everyone else's approach.

And we don't move off the fringe,

Only now, the fringe doesn’t feel so good.

What nobody says out loud is being on the fringe is comfortable and we get off on the excitement of being different.

… Though different isn’t fitting like it used to.

Sure, you get to be right without being tested.

You get to have taste without having to ship anything.

You get to stay brilliant and invisible, which means you never have to find out if brilliant is actually enough.

That's not integrity.

That's the most sophisticated form of staying safe I've ever seen… and I see it all the time!

The women who finally get off the fringe aren't the ones who suddenly love the mainstream.

They're the ones who get so sick of being right and broke that they decide to be in it, on their own terms, with their own rules, making their own noise.

Rebel with a cause. Not without one.

Seriously... Guys... This is everything.

There is no perfect message that will cut through if it's not lit by your own fire.
All the poetic words, the perfectly crafted hooks, the tension and desire dialled in just right.
It means nothing.

We can speak about what we do and our actual work for days, but weaving our magick and voice into something that lands and inspires action… it takes fire, rage, desire and bone-truth.
