It’s been a while since I’ve shared anything here, but here’s a little update of something I'm incredibly proud to have been a part of!

Yesterday I had the chance to walk through one of the designs that I completed for Eiffel Homes. Its always a rewarding moment seeing the finished result in person. And WOW. This one blew me away.

Now we are about to commence the next one. Same style, but as a duplex!

Our stunning double-storey home design in Healesville, is now well into construction.

With the frame up, roof on, and windows in, it’s all taking shape beautifully. We can’t wait to see this one at lock-up stage! 🔑

7-star energy ratings and whole-of-house ratings are here now in full swing (as introduced from May 2024).

Whilst only being a modest addition to this beautiful century old weatherboard home (WIR and ensuite), the client had a clear idea of what they wanted to achieve - to be able to enjoy thier beautuful private backyard from their new ensuite. The large picture window flawlessly captures this vision.
And of course, we can't forget the carport down near the wood shed - which is a handy addition for those wet winter days collecting fire wood.
The builder (Orchard Grove Building) did a fabulous job bringing this all to life.

Did you know the Australian Building Codes Board is updating the National Construction Code to strengthen minimum requirements for the energy efficiency of new homes?

The new energy efficiency and condensation mitigation requirements commence in Victoria on 1 May 2024.
All new homes will be required to achieve a 7 star rating in lieu of the current 6 star rating.

Victoria will also remove barriers to installation of efficient electric hot water systems, helping households to capture further benefits from investing in solar panels, and supporting those who choose all-electric new homes.
