have been sharing some gorgeous community makes from their Printed Cotton Twills collection recently. So I though I’d take a moment to reshare these snaps of and .creations sweet makes! I’m always blown away with the skills of this sewing community and how people imagine and bring these printed fabrics to life.
The Mini Flower power print was born from a smaller-scale version of the BF 2021 swim print that I designed for
Sometimes the most simple print designs make the biggest impact and this one just goes to show how versatile it can be by just changing the scale and colour.

Heather used this lovely linen in the Squiggle Daisy print that I designed for to make this gorgeous dress!
Funnily enough, Heather and I met years ago when we both worked in the coffee industry (shoutout ) we’ve both since followed our creative urges and carved out careers in the fashion industry.
Heather is one very talented (and busy) human! She works as a sewist for local Melbourne label , plus she offers her own bespoke dressmaking, has a very gorgeous line of kiddies clothes over .louis.handmade AND she has recently launched her very own pattern line - head over and check out her launch pattern the Florence Jumpsuit (which is currently 15% off all Feb!)
Heather is one of the most lovely, kind, bubbly humans you’ll ever meet. She just personifies that famous kiwi charm.
