On behalf of your Sapphires family, we wish all our players and families an awesome school holiday break!

Enjoy some well-deserved time off with your family and friends, relax, have fun and make some wonderful memories.

We will definitely miss seeing you out on the courts, but we can’t wait to have everyone back together again!

🏐 Just a reminder:
There are NO GAMES Saturday 19th & 26th September due to the school holidays.

Our first game back is Saturday 3rd October.

Are you ready to take your netball to the next level?
Registrations are officially OPEN for the 2027 MDNA Ranges Representative Program!

Representing Ranges means becoming part of the Netball Australia pathway, with athletes challenged and supported to develop their skills, game understanding, confidence and performance in a high-performance environment.

Our Ranges program provides athletes with access to quality coaching, structured development, competition and opportunities to test themselves against some of the best young netballers across the state.

This is more than just playing netball. It's about learning, challenging yourself, building connections and developing the skills and mindset required to progress through the pathway.

Looking for something fun and active these school holidays?

Our Ranges School Holiday Program is the perfect opportunity for young netballers to learn, develop and have fun! 💪🏐

📅 Thursday 1st October 2026
📍 Knox Regional Netball Centre
👧🧒 Ages 10–13 years

Choose from TWO sessions:
⏰ Session 1: 9:00am – 11:00am
⏰ Session 2: 12:00pm – 2:00pm

Participants will work on the fundamental skills of netball, build confidence and put their skills into action — all while playing plenty of fun games! 🎯🔥

Whether you're looking to sharpen your skills or simply have some fun on court these holidays, this one is for you!

Hey Sapphires!

It’s going to be a wet and cold Saturday — brrrrr! ☔️🥶🌂💧

A few handy tips to help keep our Sapphires safe and playing their best out on the courts:

🏐 Slow down your gameplay
🏐 Use short, sharp passes
🏐 Avoid long lobs where possible
🏐 Make sure you have good grip with your shoes
🏐 Keep your hands and the ball as dry as possible

Most importantly, communicate with your teammates, support each other, and play smart in the wet conditions.

Stay warm, stay safe, and give it your all out there!

📣 2026 SPRING NEW UMPIRE WORKSHOP
📅 Sunday 13 September
🕘 9:00am – 12:00pm
📍 Community Room, Knox Regional Netball Centre

MDNA encourages all coaches, players, parents, carers and spectators to attend this workshop to gain valuable insight into umpiring and learn what's expected of new umpires joining MDNA for the 2026 Spring season.

New umpires attending the workshop must bring:
✅ Finger grip whistle (COMPULSORY)
✅ Hair ties
✅ Pen & paper
✅ Snacks
✅ Appropriate sports gear & runners

📣 2026 SPRING NEW UMPIRE SCREENING DAY
📅 Sunday 4 October
🕤 9:30am – 1:00pm
📍 Knox Regional Netball Centre

Attendance is required for:
• All new umpires who attended the September workshop.
• New umpires who attended the 2026 Winter Workshop but did not umpire during the Winter season.

Please bring:

⚠️ Important: All umpires who are offered a Spring 2026 umpiring position must complete both the Rules of Netball and Foundation Umpiring Course before taking the court. This is a compulsory requirement for all MDNA umpires.
