The player who never gives up on a contest, shuts down the drive and makes every pass earned.
A good GD doesn’t just defend the circle; they lift the whole team with grit, communication and relentless effort. 🔥🏐

A Goal Defence (GD) is responsible for stopping the opposition from scoring by defending the attacking third and goal circle. They pressure passes, intercept the ball, rebound missed shots and work closely with the Goal Keeper to shut down the attack.

A huge good luck and congratulations to all of our Mernda Netball Club players competing at the Netball Victoria Association Championships this weekend representing their representative squads!

We are incredibly proud to see so many of our players achieving amazing opportunities, challenging themselves at a high level and showcasing their hard work and dedication to the game.
