As we move toward the year ahead, one of the most valuable things we can give our fighters is direction — a clear goal that brings structure, focus, and purpose to their training.

In November 2026, the ISKA World Championships will take place in Madrid, bringing together amateur fighters from across the world to compete on a truly global stage.

Over the coming months, we will begin the official Team Australia selection process and structured squad training, with the aim of developing a strong, disciplined, and well-prepared national team to represent Australia with pride.

🇦🇺 Australian Selections – Stage One

The first stage of Australian selections will take place at:

ISKA Australian Open Championships

This event will form the foundation of the national selection pathway for athletes seeking to represent Australia at the 2026 ISKA World Championships.

🌍 World Championships Challenge

The ISKA World Championships are a true test of ability and character.

• Ring sports: 3 x 2-minute rounds
• Mat sports: 2 x 1.5 / 2 x 2-minute rounds
• International-level competition

Athletes are challenged technically, physically, and mentally — and the preparation journey itself is where the greatest development takes place.

We will be hosting regular squad training and selection sessions, focused on:

• Performance development
• Raising national standards
• Knowledge sharing
• Long-term athlete and coach growth

From regional amateur tournaments to major televised professional Championship, arena events. The ISKA operates the largest Kickboxing and Muay Thai circuit in the world and it’s still growing.
