You get to a point in your teaching career where you just want to wear ‘normal-people-clothes’. I know, right? Welcome to semi-retirement 😌

It’s bittersweet to share that my time at Breathe Education is coming to an end 🤍



One of the biggest drivers of my work is the value that I place on service. Regardless of where I am, I strive to commit myself to being a force for good, for as many people as possible.



I am so proud of the work I have done in this industry, and I hope our community feels adequately served by the time that I have held the platform of educator and leader. Most of all, I hope that I have been a small force in holding the door open so that everyone else who is ‘other’ can stream in ✊🏾🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️



Right now, I’m taking the time to dedicate the next chapter of my work to advocacy, q***r leadership, mental health, and my pursuit of being a psychologist. You haven’t seen NOTHING yet 🔥



Thank you to the people stood by me to be everything that I am today. Thank you to everyone who has held kindness in their heart for me. I adore you - now, keep inspiring people to move x

My life after immigrating to Australia has been bookmarked by a series of ‘firsts’ 💡



I cannot explain how many times I have been the only person in a space that looks like or comes from my communities. And I wish that my career didn’t have to be described as ‘unprecedented’.



But if for now, I have to be the person that kicks the door down so everyone else can get in, I will.



I am by no means the authority on diversity, equity and inclusion in the industry, but I am at least a facilitator, a listener and will always be a fierce ally of those who are marginalised 🔥
