100Lapper Time šŸŽ‡
With life being super busy, holidays and buying a new house, we are finally airing up the tyres and dusting the big girl off for a run

It’s been a long 4 months off, but we are starting to get ready for another attempt at the Alexandra Speedway 100Lapper over the Kings birthday weekend

Last year was our first timing racing the 100Lapper. After some good heat results and fun with friends, the event unfortunately was rained out. 😢 But we’re back this year to have another go šŸ’Ŗ

We’ll spend the week going over the car with some advice from Mr 4-peat himself, Lennie Bonnici, then off to DJ Automotive where Shane from SJAY Constructions can put a handy setup in it

I can’t thank the people who help and support me enough, it definitely goes along way even at these levels! Keen to see everyone and have a great weekend šŸ

17th Jan we took on Wahgunyah speedways Lucky 7 series round with the VSC Unlimited Sedans. The track was awesome and we had a blast, regardless of the heat.

Or heat results definitely could have been better, but we managed to chase some setup throughout the meeting and ended up landing somewhere decent enough for the final. Starting out of 5th for the final behind 2 very fast cars, we felt confident enough to stick to the back of them and set sail. Everything went to plan on the start until an outside car came barreling down from the top line and made heavy contact with the FR, causing an abundance of steering issues. We limped on until around lap 7 where it packed it up, so to the infield we went.
We finished up the night camping along side a river just out of Wangaratta, which was a well deserved wind down after a long hot days racing šŸ”„

We have a broken spindle/rack/arms/ball joints and chassis rack mount to fix before our next run at Rosedale on the 14th Feb šŸ¤·ā€ā™‚ļø

Thanks again to all the people who come to support and to the guys in the pits who have helped with fixing the car, getting everything ready and all the setup ideas. See you all on the 14th of Feb šŸšŸŽļø

2026! Holidays are over and we’re back on the grind šŸ’Ŗ

This Saturday the 17th we’ll be back running the VSC Umlimited Sedans Lucky 7 Round 3 at Wahgunyah! This is a new to us track, so we are looking forward to the challenges we will face but super pumped!

This time we’ll be racing with our close mates Shane and Nath. They will be having a red hot crack at the jp asphalting extreme sports sedan series round. While Lennie and myself will be with the Unlimited’s

Looking forward to the weekend ahead, we can’t wait to turn some laps and have fun with family and friends! See you all there šŸ

Late post! Last Sunday we had our second series round of the VSC Unlimited’s Lucky 7

This time we set off to a track that is new to us and only 15mins from home, the track was a head scratcher to understand and navigate, but we pressed on through the day

Our heats saw us finish with a 3/6/2, we had only the one whoops for the day in heat 2, where we stepped very slightly off the single line track and around it went.
With all the changes we are making to the car we are seeing things head in the right direction, but there’s still a long way to go for us to be able to keep in the fight with these late models šŸ’Ŗ we managed to start the final in 3rd and another 3rd was where we finished

I’d like to thank my friends and family for coming to support, it always means the world to me. Next we are off to Wahgunyah on the 17th of Jan for round 3 and we’re looking forward to it 😊 See you all soon

Yesterday afternoon saw us head over to see our mate Shane at SJAY RaceCraft, getting the big girl on the scales and dialled in.

We decided to make vast setup changes heading into the next VSC Unlimited’s Lucky 7 Round this weekend at Drouin Speedway Sunday 14th, hopefully to try and learn more about the car.

Thanks again to Shane for the help and wisdom, See everyone Sunday šŸŽļøšŸ

Last weekend marked the start of the VSC Unlimited’s Lucky 7 rounds at Nagambie Speedway.

It was our first time out with the Unlimited’s and it was a blast, a lot of fun with some great guys. During our heats we chased some car set up issues with still some ways to go, but we’re learning on the fly. After 3 heats, we managed to start out of 3rd in the feature. All in all, a pretty clean race but with some over heating and set up issues we weren’t able to make a move for any further positions, so 3rd was where we finished.

Not a bad start to the series, we’re keen to see how we go in the next round at Drouin speedway on the 14th of December.

Thanks to Nagambie Speedway for all the efforts that were put in to run the meeting, and thanks to everyone who helped out over the weekend 😊

Last Saturday was our first time around Nyora speedway for the Bob Hickson memorial and didn’t we have a blast! The volunteers and track crew did an amazing job, we couldn’t have asked for much more.

Our heats were good, We had a 1st/1st and a 4th putting us out of pole for the final! Our restarts still need some work and we battled some pushing through turns 3/4 but we managed to settle in around 3rd for most of the final with a very strong car. With 3 laps to go there was a racing incident ahead that ultimately ended up seeing the race come to an end, for what reason we don’t know…… non the less we finished 2nd, which is unreal and we’re super happy with the result. It’s our best result yet in a feature let alone finishing.
We would have loved to have run the green white chequered to see if we could have taken home the win but sadly not the case.

We’d like to thank Robbie for being brave enough and running passenger all night and helping out with some helmet blower issues during the final (especially on his birthday), Shane for helping in the pits, Lennie for the setup info and all my friends and family for coming to support, it really means a lot

Our First 100 Lapper šŸŽļø

What a weekend it was. We arrived with a dialled in car, ready to take action (or so we thought). The car rolled out of the trailer and a fuel pump said ā€œno thanksā€ā€¦ but lucky for me, Shane happened to making a trip back to Melbourne and was able to make a stop and bring a new pump back up with him. Thanks mate!

First heat was a tear offs worst nightmare, but we pushed through and finished with a 2nd.

Second heat the track was coming to us but the car was down on power. We had an awesome run chasing Jacko, and unlucky for him, he pushed out of the dog leg and I was able to sneak on by and get the heat win!!!
I was fired up!

We had some over fuelling issues but with little time until our 3rd heat we wire brushed the plugs and got rolling (thanks to Robbie and Shane for the fast work).

Third heat the rain started and the track was a handful, but we pushed on.
Unfortunately we took on damage to 3 corners, so not really stoked on that but oh well. Lennie helped us out by straightening all the corners with just panels to patch. In the end, we ended up with a 2nd place- so overall a great result.

At the end of Saturday we were sitting 5th in points.

Sunday we weren’t racing until the very last heat of the night, so it was a long day. We lined up on the dummy grid in pole next to Jacko, ready for another awesome heat, but as we were waiting the rain hit and that was it for the weekend.

Although the rain stopped us from racing, it was great to see all the cars lined up for a grid walk and to watch all the kids in awe of all the cars. Nath surprised us with some awesome stickers of the torrie, that we got to hand out to all the kids and likewise excited adults!

An unfortunate ending to the weekend as it would have been great to get the final in, but I’m now all the more excited for the next one.
Thanks to everyone that helped out over the weekend, every bit of help is appreciated. Special thanks to all friends and family for the support!
