BUILD UPDATE 👇

Now 10 weeks into this build phase, bodyweight up six kg, and pretty happy with how condition/leanness is holding

Have now well and truly hit the ‘inflection point’ where energy is up, sleep on point, appetite bang on, and training progressions are coming in basically every session

This is completely different to past ‘bulks’ where I would basically put on fat way too quickly even though training was plateauing and I’d just be wasting time

We haven’t done anything crazy, simply executed the boring basics every day for these past 10 weeks, not getting ahead of ourselves and trying to solve every problem by cramming in more food

And more importantly, this is the first time I’ve truly appreciated the process, instead of just being focused on when the next cut is going to be, or saying ‘I can’t wait to be lean again’

I’ve recently come to a realisation.

A realisation that nowhere where I am in my life, through both the ups and the downs, I only feel true happiness when I know I’m continually improving

In physique development. In personal development. In business development.

There is nothing worse for our growth, and also our mental health, than staying stagnant

Wonder why we feel our best after doing something hard? After finishing a rough leg day, after seeing the payoff off dieting hard, fck even using our Sunday to plan out our week ahead of time..

Because we know we’re moving in the right direction

Every moment I can think of where I’ve felt true happiness and gratitude.. is much to my dismay NOT from buying fancy things or going out partying

It’s after I’ve done, or while I’m doing, things conducive to this growth

Moving forward, further toward the person we want to be

Which is all we can ever strive to do

Even in the most difficult times, if we just focus on the things that’ll keep us continually improving

We can hold our head fkn high.

Have had a lot of fun in this build so far

Nobody wants to get fat in bulk, and you don’t have to

Stop being sloppy, keep yourself accountable, and you’ll be shocked what can happen

A sure fire way to slow down your progress..

When we focus on what we KNOW will drive muscle growth instead, we don’t only start seeing better payoff, but we don’t need to feel as fcked after our gym sessions 😂

There’s a lot of quick fixes we can take to lose weight, but the thing we know we should actually be doing, fixing our nutrition and lifestyle..
