One thing I've learnt from being a Tournament Director across multiple events...

It's usually not the tournament that's the problem.

It's the player profile.

Every tournament, I see players run into the same handful of registration issues. The best part? Nearly all of them are completely avoidable with a few simple changes to your PickleballTournaments.com profile.

So I've put together this quick guide to help you get tournament ready.

Whether you're registering for your very first tournament or your fifteenth, these tips will save you time, frustration and a few "Why won't it let me register?" moments.

πŸ’Ύ Save this post so you've got it handy before your next registration.

πŸ“€ Share it with your doubles partner, your pickleball group, or that friend you've finally convinced to give tournament play a crack.

See you on the courts.

Fun first. Always. πŸ“

PBCO.
More than a tournament. An experience.

The pickleball is only part of it.

It’s the music.
The laughter.
The cheers from the sidelines.
The celebrations that get everyone involved.
The conversations between matches.
The people you meet along the way.
The feeling that, whether it’s your first tournament or your fiftieth, you belong.

That’s the PBCO experience.

Because the best tournaments aren’t remembered for who won.

They’re remembered for the energy.
The vibes.
The people.
And the moments that stay with you long after the final point has been played.

The tournament gets you through the door.
The experience brings you back.

See you at the next one.

Every team starts the same way.

Four paddles.
Four mates.
One promise.

"Let's make this a day we'll remember."

That's what Pickle Rumble has always been about.

Yes, someone takes home the medals.
But everyone leaves with stories.

Registrations for the next Pickle Rumble are now open.

Bring your team.
We'll take care of the memories.

Some of the best moments never make it to the podium.

Sure, we celebrate our champions.
But when we looked back through the Pride x Paddles gallery, theres were the photos we kept coming back to.

The laughs.
The cheeky celebrations.
The moments between points.
The friendships being made.

Because that's what Pride x Paddles has always been about.
A place where everyone can turn up, be themselves, play some pickleball and leave with a few more friends than they arrive with.

We asked ourselves one question.
How do we make Pickle Rumble even better?

We rebuilt Pickle Rumble to create a format that's faster, fairer and keeps every team in the hunt.

πŸ₯’ Every bout consists of Women's Doubles, Men's Doubles and a Mixed Doubles relay.
πŸ₯’ Rally scoring keeps the action moving.
πŸ₯’ No semi-finals
πŸ₯’ Every point counts
πŸ₯’ Every bout matters.

It's competitive.
It's strategic.
And it's a whole lot of fun.

Some tournaments are about the podium.

This one's about the people standing beside you.

Four mates.
One team.

A full day of big rallies, questionable tactics and the kind of memories that have the group chat buzzing long after the final point.

That's what Pickle Rumble is all about.

πŸ“ DUPR Gated. Not DUPR Rated.

We've rebuilt the format to make it faster, fairer and even more fun, while keeping the thing that matters most... playing with your mates.

Whether you're sharpening up for MILP, putting together a team for the first time, or simply looking for a bloody good day of pickleball...

This is your tournament.

Not because of the medals.
Not because of ranking points.
Because of how you'll feel when it's over.

A little sore.
A little louder.
Already planning the next one.

What a weekend. πŸŒˆπŸ’™

Pride x Paddles 2026 is officially in the books, and what an incredible two days it was.

To the 139 players who joined us across 10 events... thank you.

Thank you for bringing the colour, the laughter, the competitive spirit and the unwavering support for one another. Some of my favourite moments weren't the medal matches. They were watching players stay long after their own games had finished to cheer on others. That's the kind of community we're building, and I'm incredibly proud of it.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who volunteered their time, to our Head Referee Mike Cain and referee team Steve Saynor, Trieste Clark, Rowena Archer and Ron Copperwaite, and to Mark Elbourne, who is worth his weight in gold. One thing I'll never compromise on is capturing the memories from every PBCO event, and Mark does that brilliantly.

Paddle Battle Co. is still very much a one-person show behind the scenes, so weekends like this are only possible because of the amazing people who believe in what we're building. Your support means more than you know.

I hope you took home plenty of memories, but more importantly, I hope you remember how this weekend made you feel.

Because that's what PBCO is all about.

If you were part of Pride x Paddles, I'd love your feedback. Please take a few minutes to complete our player survey. Your comments genuinely help shape future PBCO events.

Thank you for making Pride x Paddles something truly special.

See you all at Pickle Rumble on 15–16 August.

Fun First. Always. πŸ’™
