5 huge games over the weekend.

The 17U kicked off the weekend on Saturday with a draw vs the Ducks.
Then on Sunday they had a win over the Wolves.
Coach Todd said "You guys are making it hard to pick each week!"

The 15U team have 2 hardest worker awards for this week to make up for not having one last week.

The 11U MVP was picked for playing through the pain of their hurt hand and being a gun on the ice and the Hardest Worker for always being where they needed to be.

No further notes on the others from the coaches.

We want to say a HUGE thank you to Melbourne Mustangs and Melbourne Ice, who both donated a signed jersey for our Demons Junior Ice Hockey raffle at their games last weekend.

The kids had fun encouraging people to purchase tickets, our winners were super excited to take home a signed jersey, and even the Mustangs mascot got in on the photographs!

We couldn't have done this without our amazing volunteers who took care of all the details of the raffle, from the setup through to the delivery of the prize. We appreciate you all so much.

Two games from the last weekend - the 11U and 15U teams both hitting the ice at IceHQ.

For our 15U team, Coach awarded our MVP saying he was "great with his forechecks and backchecks. His speed and power kept up with the Ducks." This week's Hardest Worker award was selected by last weeks hardest worker and was for "he kept trying to push forward and skate through to get a goal for the team".

In our 11Us, Coach said "Our MVP created lots of opportunities throughout the game, and our hardest worker never stopped protecting our net with 100% every shift."
