🏆 The André Memorial Cup – A Day to Remember

Today we came together for our annual golf tournament — The André Memorial Cup — a truly special day made possible by the incredible efforts of the André family.

A heartfelt thank you to Anna, Carlo, and Matilde André, who went above and beyond in organizing everything — from securing the booking early, preparing the trophies, opening up their home, and making sure everything was ready right up to the last minute. When a family runs an event like this, you can genuinely feel the warmth and love behind it.

A special mention to Matilde André for the amazing food — the rissóis de camarão, the feijoada, and all the effort in making sure everyone was well looked after.

Big thanks as well to João, Cunha, and Anthony for stepping in and running the BBQ, and to Annabella and everyone else who helped make the place look so welcoming and beautiful.

Today was not just about golf — it was about remembrance, connection, and legacy.

We took a moment to honour those no longer with us — Raul, Marques, and André. Playing at this very course made it even more special, knowing that André and Ana André spent so many years here together, walking these fairways, sharing moments just like the ones we had today.

And there we were — following those same footsteps. You could feel it. Not just in the game, but in the atmosphere, the stories, the laughter… it all carried a deeper meaning.

As was said during the speech, they would have been up there laughing — especially at our golf today.

A special mention to João Paulo, who brought great energy, lifted the mood, and kept everyone smiling. He’s definitely following in his dad’s footsteps… although today it might have been 4s, 5 putts a hole! 😄

And speaking of golf… let’s be honest — it wasn’t anyone’s best day out there 😄 But that’s not what mattered. What mattered was being together, sharing stories, laughter, and continuing a tradition that means so much to all of us.
