“What is CFC ?”

CFC is a football academy where the player is placed at the heart of every session.
Our main objective is to support each player’s individual development by working on key aspects of the game: technical skills, tactical understanding, and movement.

The academy was created from a simple observation:
In Clubs, players often don’t have enough time to progress individually. From a very young age, the focus is frequently on winning, which can limit a player’s freedom to try, repeat, and make mistakes. When victory becomes more important than development, players stop taking risks and concentrate only on performing for the team, instead of focusing on their own growth

Through one or several training sessions outside the club environment, players can fully focus on themselves. They get more touches on the ball, more repetition, and the time needed to master the fundamental football actions they will later use in matches and put at the service of their team.

Working on the basics is essential at every age and in all situations — whether through simple technical work alone with the ball or by adding game-like situations to get closer to real match conditions. A coach once said: a footballer is like a worker with a toolbox. On match day, the player must know which tool to use at the right moment. That’s why mastering every tool beforehand is so important.

Finally, and above all, we believe deeply in the power of enjoyment.
The joy of training, touching the ball, repeating actions, making mistakes, and learning from them. Enjoyment in the process. Football requires structure and discipline, but players must be able to grow, express themselves, and feel confident within that framework — because football is a game, and in every game, enjoyment is the foundation of progress

Meet Corentin

goes by “Coco” on and off the field

Let me introduce myself,
Football has shaped who I am since the age of 5.

I was born in Clermont- Ferrand, France and grew up in a professional environment at Clermont Foot (Ligue 2), spending 10 years developing my game and competing against top clubs like Marseille, Lyon, Monaco.

At just 17, I signed my first contract with AS Cannes, turning a childhood dream into reality.
My journey didn’t stop there. I spent more than 10 years competing at a semi-professional level while committing fully to my coaching pathway. During this time, I earned my UEFA coaching diploma, and completed my Physical Education certification.

After a decade of high-level competition, I moved to Australia for a new life experience and quickly fell in love with the country. Now based in Melbourne for the past four years, I am currently about to commence my fifth season with North Sunshine Eagles in VPL1 as vice-captain, leading on and off the pitch.

I’m excited to share my experience, passion, and values with the next generation of players.
