🏆 Club 4’s Championship 🏆

We love our Club 4’s Championship! It involves the most members in the club, but is also completely random. Combinations are formed that have never played with one another before and members who never thought they would win a club championship, have every chance of calling themselves one.

Congratulations to our 2026/27 Champions and Runners Up! They day was a brilliant display of hard fought competition and the ultimate sportsmanship amongst club mates. You should all be incredibly proud of your efforts.

And to everyone who participated, thank you on making it the perfect kickoff, for what is to be a cracking season ahead!

Congratulations to our very own Chelsea Po***ck on being selected to represent the Bowls Victoria Open State side at the upcoming Test Series against WA and the 2026 Nationals

We are extremely proud of your achievements and will be riding every bowl with you from home. We wish you nothing but the best and cannot wait to see you have more success as the year continues.

❄️ Winter Triples Tournament ❄️

It was great to see the club full of bowlers from near and far, enjoying themselves in some healthy competition before the pennant season gets underway! A bit of rain early on didn’t faze our bowlers, who were keen for a fun day on the green!

Congratulations to our top five teams on a successful tournament. We had all five teams finish the day undefeated, seeing a count back to determine the winners!

We can’t wait to see you all return to the club soon for our next tournament!!

✨ PREMIER PAIRS ✨

Lisa Trewarne & Chelsea Po***ck will be hitting the greens at Moama for the Women’s Premier Pairs Tournament, but this time with a twist… They’ll be competing against each other with Lisa playing with Mel Allen from Mentone Edge & Chelsea playing with Carla Miles from Tallygaroopna.

We wish them and their partners all the best for the tournament!

⭐️ TEST SERIES VICTORY ⭐️

A big congratulations to our very own Lisa Trewarne & Chelsea Po***ck who came away victorious against the NSW U25 side at the recent test series at Deer Park.

After a loss in Game 1, it saw the Victorian side needing a win in Game 2 to keep the series alive and doing so with a convicning 23 shot win! Game 3 saw a tight finish, with the Victorians well down early in the game. Lisa Trewarne’s rink came back picking up 7 shots in the last 3 ends, and Chelsea Po***ck’s rink keeping the overall score alive with 4 shots on the second last end and sealing the deal with a shot on the last to see the team win by 2 overall!

A special mention to our Mustang faithful who came to Deer Park to support the girls, who have mentioned how much it meant to them; and to those who followed along from home!

🩷 Women In Sport Day 🩷

What a fantastic day we had last Saturday celebrating Women in Sport!

The day was about more than just getting together and having fun — it was an opportunity to celebrate the incredible women already involved in sport, while also raising awareness of the concerning decline in women’s participation and the importance of creating more opportunities for women and girls to get involved.

A real highlight of the day was hearing from Courtney Gabb & Kumari Mangos, who shared their own personal experiences in sport. Their stories, insights and passion were incredibly inspiring and gave us all plenty to think about.

A special mention to everyone who came along. It was fantastic to see so many people step outside their comfort zone, give something new a go and feel welcomed into our club.

Most importantly, the day brought together people of all ages, gender, backgrounds and abilities, proving that sport really is for everyone. Whether you were an experienced bowler, completely new to the game or simply there to support the day — you helped make it special.

Thank you to our incredible volunteers who helped make the day possible. We had incredible support from our local community in Melton Physio, Endota Spa (Caroline Springs), Melton City Council and more.

We hope to see you all back next year! And remember... We're stronger together, on and off the green!
