What an incredible season it has been for our Melton South Junior Football Netball Club Panthers! 🐾

As we celebrate the end of the 2026 season, we want to congratulate all of our Football and Netball Award Winners on their achievements. Your hard work, commitment, improvement and dedication throughout the season have been amazing to see, and you should all be incredibly proud. 👏

But our congratulations don’t stop with the award winners. Every single player who pulled on the Panthers colours this season has contributed to making 2026 such a fantastic year. 💙🩷

From the wins and close games to the laughs, friendships, training sessions and unforgettable moments, this season has been about so much more than what happens on the scoreboard. We’ve watched our players grow in confidence, develop their skills, support their teammates and represent our club with pride.

A huge thank you also goes to our coaches, team managers, trainers, volunteers, committee members, parents, families and supporters. Junior sport simply wouldn’t happen without the people who give their time week after week, and we are so grateful for everything you do.

Congratulations to all of our 2026 Panthers. What a season, what a club, and what an amazing group of young people! 🐾🏆 We can't wait to see what 2027 brings to our fantastic club.

💙🤍🩷 LIFE MEMBERSHIP – CONGRATULATIONS JODIE 🩷🤍💙

It is with great pride that we recognise Jodie, who has been awarded Life Membership of the Melton South Junior Football Netball Club.

Life Membership is a special honour, recognising years of dedication, commitment and service to our club and its community. Jodie’s connection to Melton South goes back many years. From being part of the club’s beginnings with her family, to watching her own children come through the junior ranks, all while taking on various roles and giving countless hours along the way.

For Jodie, it has never been about recognition. It has always been about the kids, the families and helping make our club the best place it can be. 💙

In Jodie’s own words:

“I would like to thank the committee for recognising me with this wonderful achievement. Although this isn’t what we do it for, I am very grateful.

We do this for our children.

Reflecting back over the years and the various roles I’ve taken on, we’ve all had our ups and downs, but there is no other club I would want to do it at.

I’ve been with Melton South Football Netball Club since the club was first founded with my family, and now my own children have come through the ranks at Melton South Junior Football Netball Club.

Now, with our new clubrooms and our oval and netball courts being upgraded, how great is that for our wonderful club, although I might be a little biased!

Our numbers across all teams are improving, and that’s a credit to the wonderful support we have at our great club.

It’s a privilege to be involved with the Melton South Junior Football Netball Club.

🩷💙 PANTHERS FAMILY — LET’S GET BEHIND DENIZ! 💙🩷

We’re calling on our amazing Panthers families and community to help support Deniz and the World’s Greatest Shave!

Two years ago, Deniz was diagnosed with a brain tumour. Thankfully, she received a curable diagnosis, and out of gratitude she decided she wanted to give back and support a cause very close to her heart — the Leukaemia Foundation.

Last year with the incredible support of her family, friends, school community and two football clubs, Deniz took part in the World’s Greatest Shave and raised an AMAZING $4,440, as well as donating her hair. 🙌🩷

This year, as her birthday approaches, Deniz is ready to do it all again! She won’t be shaving this time instead, she’s going CRAZY WITH COLOUR! 🌈💇‍♀️

And she has one big goal…

We’d love our entire Panthers family to get behind Deniz and help her make it happen. Every donation, no matter how big or small, makes a difference and helps the Leukaemia Foundation support Australians impacted by blood cancer.

💙🤍🩷 Once a Panther, Always a Panther, Zorian 🐾

As another season comes to an end, we want to take a very special moment to acknowledge Zorian, whose junior netball journey with the Panthers has now come to an end.

Zorian has spent his junior years proudly wearing the Panthers colours and representing our club on the netball court. Over those years, we’ve had the privilege of watching him grow, develop and become such a valued part of our Panthers family.

In the perfect ending to his junior career, Zorian has finished on the ultimate high, a premiership 🏆💙🤍🩷 A moment he will always remember, and one that reflects the hard work, dedication and team spirit he has shown throughout his time with the club.

Due to RDFNL by-laws, Zorian will now age out of junior netball and sadly won’t be able to continue his junior journey with us.

While rules may say it’s time for this chapter to close, they can never take away the years of memories, friendships, and special moments that have made Zorian part of our club.

Zorian, thank you. 🩷

Thank you for your commitment, your loyalty and for representing the Panthers with pride. Thank you for every training session, every game, every laugh and every memory you’ve shared with your teammates, coaches and the wider Panthers family.

We are incredibly proud to have been part of your junior netball journey, and while it’s hard to say goodbye, we’re also excited to see where your next chapter takes you.

Wherever you go and whatever comes next, remember that you will always be one of us.
