🥊 BOXING TRAINING FOR OVER 50s
Age doesn’t have to slow you down. Boxing training is an excellent way to build strength and stamina, improve balance and coordination, sharpen mental focus and relieve stress.
At 60, I still train regularly with weights, the heavy bag and double-end ball—and I know firsthand how valuable boxing can be for maintaining fitness, confidence and energy as we get older.
My sessions are tailored to your age, fitness level and individual goals. No previous boxing experience is required.

Enjoying a quiet coffee and pondering what the future may hold. One chapter has closed and a new journey begins—more time to pursue my passions, embrace new opportunities and see where life takes me next.

1984 — I had just left school and, at 18 years old, enlisted in the Australian Army without knowing what journey life had planned for me.
That young soldier could never have imagined the challenges, opportunities, successes, losses and life lessons that lay ahead. The Army gave me discipline, resilience and the courage to keep moving forward—qualities that would guide me through boxing, coaching, fatherhood, public service and now acting.
Along the way, I have been fortunate to meet some amazing friends, colleagues and remarkable people. Each has influenced my journey in some way, leaving an impression and helping shape the person I am today. Some remained for many years, while others were part of my life for only a short time—but every connection became another piece of the story.
Fast-forward to 2026. At 60 years old, I can finally see how all those pieces have come together. Every experience, every relationship, every setback and every victory has played a part.
The journey hasn’t always been easy, but I wouldn’t change it. I’m grateful to everyone who has walked beside me, believed in me, challenged me or inspired me along the way.
The fight continues—and I’m ready for the next chapter.

I had the privilege of meeting Ricky “The Hitman” Hatton at a fight promotion in Hong Kong.
Despite everything he had achieved in boxing, Ricky was incredibly down-to-earth, friendly and genuine. He made everyone around him feel comfortable and was very generous with his time.
A two-division world champion, International Boxing Hall of Famer and truly one of the people’s champions. I feel fortunate to have met him and will always remember that special moment.
Rest in peace, Ricky. A true legend of British boxing. 🥊🙏
