“I started F45 after I had 3 kids, gained 20kgs, and due to my busy lifestyle I was not excersinig at all and had very little knowledge about nutrition. I got to the point where I hit rock bottom with my weight. I have hip injuries related to pregnancy and underactive thyroids but I decided that no matter what I'm going to change things around.
My youngest daughter was 5 months and I was still breastfeeding when I joined F45. The trainers helped me learn the basics and pushed me to the next level. They set me targets, worked with my injury and my ability level and motivated me to always do better. The trainers noticed my improvements before I even did. Even through Covid they kept going with outdoor classes and zoom sessions and helped me stay on track. I have now lost 20kgs, am fitter and stronger than I have ever been, gained great friends and feel like I belong to the F45 family.
If you are starting this journey have a mind set that you will never give up! Substitute foods you like with lower calorie, higher protein alternatives, up your protein so that you don't feel hungry. Enjoy the things you are eating and enjoy your training. This was a fun journey for me.”

It’s a marathon not a sprint!
How often do we see our social media feeds full of amazing 8-12 week challenge transformations? How many of those people actually keep the weight off??
We believe in challenges to teach you how to make positive lifestyle changes and kickstart your journey but it doesn’t happen overnight.
This is Dom, he’s been a member with us for a little over 2 years, and is definitely part of the family.
He’s been part of the majority of our challenges in his time but it’s what he does in between the challenges that counts. He’s consistent, he shows up, he works hard and he’s transformed his body for the long haul.
RESULTS
Down 12% body fat
Up 4.9kg muscle
Down 12.4kg body fat mass.
Cholesterol dropped from 7.8 to 5.7.

Our latest 6 week challenge was centred around performance and strength. We wanted to focus less about the numbers on the scales, and more on the number on your dumbells or the number of plates you lift.
The boys were committed to make gains, and they certainty did just that! 🔥

Tom already has an engine, but wanted to focus on building muscle and gaining strength over the 6 weeks. He was focused on his goals and stayed committed, even managing to work around his busy social calendar!

The beautiful Kiz! Baby no.3 on the way. How exciting!
So good to see her still smashing out sessions!
Can't wait to watch Kiz grow over the next few months, the female body never stops amazing me.
Things to think about when training while pregnant.
- Pelvic floor exercises.
- Maintain/Increase strength training.
- Posterior Focus / Pulling.
- Maintaing an Aerobic base.
- Nourishment; making sure you're eating enough.
Imagine if you did everything you said you were going to do on New Years Day. Gosh you would have made some progress so far!
The good news is you can still start NOW. You don't need a new year or month or even a Monday.
Tomorrow is a Tuesday which is a fabulous day to create new habits. By next Tuesday you'll be a week ahead of where you are now. Use time to check in but not as an excuse.
