🏆💙 ONE WEEK ON… B4 PREMIERS! 💙🏆

A week ago today, our B4s got the job done and were crowned 2026 PREMIERS!

What a way to finish the season! So much hard work, determination and teamwork went into this moment, and we couldn’t be prouder of this group.

One week later and that Premiers feeling still hasn’t worn off! 💙🤍

🏐 15/3 RIDGEBACKS – WHAT A SEASON! ❤️💙
What an absolute nail-biter to finish the season! Our 15/3 Ridgebacks went down to Eagles by the narrowest of margins, 23–22, in a game that could have gone either way right until the final whistle.
It was all tied up at half-time. All tied up again at three-quarter time. And with just 30 seconds left on the clock – still a draw. Eagles had the final centre pass and, despite our girls giving absolutely everything to stop them, they managed to score the goal that secured the win.
But what a performance from our girls. ❤️
This is a team that, at different points this season, may not have looked like a finals team. Instead, they worked tirelessly, kept improving, backed each other and absolutely earned their place there. The growth across the season has been incredible, and they should be enormously proud of how far they have come.
Today’s result doesn’t take anything away from what they have achieved. To finish their season fighting right to the final seconds of a one-goal finals thriller says so much about this group.
A huge thank you to Coach Clare for the time, care and investment she has given these girls throughout the season, and to all of our wonderful parents and families who have supported them week after week.

Not the way our 14/2s hoped to finish their season yesterday, but we are so proud of this group of girls.

They have shown great effort, commitment and determination throughout the season and should be incredibly proud of all they have achieved together.

Not our day today for our 13/1s, but still so proud of this team.
They kept fighting, worked hard for each other and never gave up. Plenty to be proud of, girls! 💙

Ridgebacks 12/2 – 2026 Grand Final Champions! 💙🤍🏆

What a performance from our 12/2 girls today - winning 39-5! From the opening whistle, they were calm, composed and in control – producing their most complete team performance of the season.
Every girl played her part. Dakota, Abby, Winnie and Ayla applied relentless defensive pressure, Naya and Chloe delivered in the circle, Izzy and Elsie created movement and options in attack, and Tash worked tirelessly through centre.
The girls won every quarter. When mistakes happened, they reset, worked to win the ball back and kept playing their game.
After beginning the season with six consecutive losses, this group went on an incredible 10-game winning run – finishing it as premiership winners!
A huge thank you to Assistant Coach Maddie, Team Manager Jan, and all our parents and families for your commitment and support throughout the season.
Girls, you earned this through hard work, resilience, teamwork and belief in one another. What a season!

Tomorrow, six of our incredible Ridgebacks teams will take the court in their Grand Finals!

Congratulations to our 12/2, 13/1, 14/2, 15/3, 17/3 and B4 teams on this wonderful achievement. We are already so proud of everything you have accomplished this season.

Play for each other, enjoy every moment and leave everything out on the court. Most importantly, know that your entire Ridgebacks family is right behind you! 🐾

We would love to see plenty of blue around the courts throughout the day, cheering our teams on.

🏆 15/3 Match report 🏆
We’re off to the GF after defeating 1st placed Connell’s Point 25-21! 🔥
This game was never separated by more than 1 goal going in to each break until our girls had their strongest finish all season in the final quarter. Whilst this wasn’t our most seamless performance, we stayed in touch and both ends never wavered from their strength and teamwork.
This will be a first grand final for some of these girls and we’re going to enjoy this week to try and bring it home for each other. Beyond proud of this group.

WHAT an achievement from these girls! After a nervous start, they settled, trusted each other and found their game – coming away with a brilliant 42–20 win and a place in the GRAND FINAL! 💙
And what makes this one even sweeter is just how far this team has come. After a challenging start to the season, these girls have continued to work, learn, grow and back each other – and now they’re Grand Final bound!

So incredibly proud of this team and everything they have achieved together. One more to go, girls!
