My beautiful Lolly!

Due in 5 days.
Her two other foals were born right on their due date. And man, she's kicking along on time too.

First foal- EMJ Smart Steps. Silver bay c**t with a snip.
2nd foal- EMJ A New Way. Chestnut filly with a star and 2 hind socks.

Im very keen to see the 3rd full sibling!
Colour options-
Bay, silver bay, chestnut, black and silver black. (Fanta being chestnut has proven Mando can throw blacks to chestnut mares.)

Im putting the feelers out… because I’m a bit stuck at the moment.

Due to the sudden sale of Mocha, I’ve unexpectedly lost one of my school horses. His owner needed to sell him, and I completely understand that. it genuinely has nothing to do with Mocha himself. But it happened very suddenly and it has left us a bit high and dry with a horse that I had already been actively preparing for one of my young riders to compete on.

And poor Trimmer is left on his own to do anyone needing something over 14.1h until Fanta is back in the school around December.

So… I’m looking.

I’m ideally looking for something around 14.2hh – 15.2hh. Definitely nothing taller than 15.2 (15.3 might be a push).

Lease preferred, with an option to purchase down the track. I do have a budget, so please don't send me million dollar horses because I will cry. 😂

What I'm really looking for is temperament over education.

The horse needs to have a nice, easy walk, trot and canter and be sensible and reliable. It doesn't need to be perfectly schooled or fancy — I'm more than happy to put the education, exposure and miles into the right horse.

I can offer a horse plenty of variety, work and exposure through riding lessons, trails, arena work, jumping and general riding school life. So if you've got a horse that perhaps isn't completely finished but has the right brain and temperament, I'd definitely be interested in having a chat.

📍 Within roughly 4–4.5 hours of Mildura would be ideal.

I'm honestly a little bit lost at the minute because Mocha leaving was so unexpected, and I need to find the right horse to help fill that gap — particularly with young riders who were already working towards their own goals.

Please message me if you know of something that might suit, or tag someone who might have the right horse. I'm pretty open minded about the breed/type. ❤️

And just to be clear — Mocha's sale was absolutely nothing to do with his suitability as a school horse. His owner simply had circumstances that meant he needed to be sold and unfortunately the timing was very sudden. I cried as he left in the float down the road today.

I'm just trying to pick up the pieces and keep everyone moving forward. 🐴❤️

🐴 Personal Best for Kara! 🏆

Big congratulations to Kara today, who absolutely smashed her personal best — jumping 80cm! 🙌

And she didn't just do it once… she jumped 80cm on both Rosie AND Noodle! 😍

It’s pretty bloody awesome watching a rider build their confidence, strength and skills and then suddenly realise, “Hang on… I can actually do this!” 😂

Super proud of you, Kara. Keep pushing, keep learning and keep having a crack! ❤️

Lynn & Trimmer ❤️

Sometimes things don't quite go to plan.
Lynn had been working towards the Mildura Show this year with Mocha lined up for dressage and the Standardbred classes. She'd been putting the work in, getting herself ready and having something really exciting to aim for.
Unfortunately, Mocha was sold rather suddenly by his owner recetly and that meant a pretty big change of plans for this 13yo girl.
But we're not letting that stop her. ❤️

So... enter Trimmer.
He's got the temperament we want, but he's also still pretty green, so Lynn and Trimmer have a fair bit to figure out together over the next 5–6 weeks.

She won't be able to do the Standardbred classes with him, obviously, but we're going to work our butts off and see if we can get them ready for the dressage ring.

It might not be the plan we started with, but sometimes you just have to roll with the punches.

I'm bloody proud of Lynn for getting on, having a crack and giving herself another goal to work towards.

Let's see what these two can do. ❤️🐴

Mando's eldest son, EMJ Smart Steps. Will be gelded as soon as funds permit ❤️❤️ 2yo end of this month.

I do reckon he'll be too good for the school so within next 12 months I'll be taking EOI on him once broken in. Currently 13.1h

Potentially a lease show/performance home for him as I am hesitant on selling.

Look at Chelsea go! 🥹🐴

This little girl has been working away at her riding, and this week she was TROTTING! 🙌

Holding her reins, keeping them nice and steady and learning not to rely on pulling — there’s still plenty to work on, but these little steps are HUGE. ❤️

Every rider has their own journey, and I’m bloody proud of this one!

🐾 SCOOBY'S FIRST DOG JUMP! 🐾

Well… I honestly had no bloody idea what to expect today. 😂

I’d never entered Scooby in anything like this before, and at only 8 months old, I was really just taking him along for the experience and seeing what happened.

Turns out, this lanky GSP boy has got some serious springs in those legs! 😂

He worked his way up through the heights and finished at 1.9 metres, which he cleared really easily. At the 2 metre mark he decided he’d had enough and basically said, “You know what? I’m going to sit in the shade.” 😂 The heat definitely caught up with him a bit by then.

He even tried to cheat at one point and went around the side of the obstacle instead of over it. Nice try, Scooby. 🤣 I think he was today's underdog.

But for his first ever competition, being the youngest dog there and competing against much older, experienced dogs, I honestly couldn't be happier with him.

🐕 1.9m jump at just 7.5-8 months old
💤Chose the shade instead of jumping the 2m so he didnt actually fail a 2m jump attempt.

The dog that won has apparently taken out this competition for the last three years, so I'm bloody thrilled with Scooby's effort.

A huge thank you to Shari and Roy for coming along to support us, taking photos and helping out throughout the day. Roy was also Scooby's handler, so I really appreciated having you both there. ❤️

And of course, thank you to Scooby's fan club who have been following this lanky boy's adventures and cheering him on! 😂❤️

Well, I guess we've now discovered that Scooby has some springs in his legs, so this won't be his last dog jump!

You'll see him having another crack at it at the Mildura Show, and hopefully we'll keep building from here. Will need Team Scooby shirts i think!

And next year, once he's old enough, Scrappy will be joining him too. 😈

Not bad for a baby dog who I genuinely didn't know could jump anywhere near that high.
