🔵⚪ NEW SIGNING | CODY NANCARROW

Newcastle Olympic is delighted to announce the signing of Cody Nancarrow for the 2027 season. 💥

Cody began his football journey with Newcastle Football, coming through the Northern NSW Talent Support Program under the guidance of Leo Bertos.

He progressed through NPL Youth from U13s to U15s before making his first-grade debut at just 16.

At 18, Cody joined Cooks Hill and made an immediate impact in NPL Men’s, earning Northern NSW Young Player of the Year honours and selection in the Team of the Year.

His breakout season attracted interest from clubs including Sydney Olympic, before he joined Broadmeadow Magic and represented the club in the Australian Championship.

In 2026, Cody headed north to join Gold Coast Knights in the Queensland NPL.

Now returning to Newcastle, Cody reunites with Leo Bertos and brings plenty of pace, explosiveness and proven goal-scoring ability to the Olympic squad.

🔵⚪ DARLING ST | GRAND FINAL WEEKEND

That’s a wrap on a huge weekend at Darling St.

Our home ground played host to the NPL Grand Finals, with two days of top-level Northern NSW football, big crowds and plenty of action.

It was great to see Darling St buzzing and looking the part as the stage for some of the biggest games of the season.

A big thanks to everyone who came along, filled the sidelines and made it a weekend to remember.
