The game became a place to remember, to support, to grieve, and to come together. From the silence before kick-off to sharing a meal after the final whistle.

Western Sydney is the heart of culture and community - and last night, that heart was felt. 🤎
Beyond Western Sydney, the wider rugby community stood together, showing up with love and support for Merrylands, Felesha’s teammates and her family.

💙🏉 Forever in Our Rugby Family — Felesha Jasper🏉💙

Our hearts are absolutely broken at the loss of Felesha Jasper. Our deepest love and sympathy and condolences goes out to her family, friends, teammates, coaches and everyone who had the privilege of knowing this beautiful young Girl.

Rugby was Felesha’s passion, her community and such a huge part of her life. Her journey began at just three years old with Valley/Cougars, before playing minis with Dundas, Liverpool and our friends at Penrith.

In such a short life, Felesha achieved so much. She was named Player of the Tournament at King of the Hills,She represented Two Blues Juniors, was the only girl in our U12 State Championships team, and went on to represent Koori Rugby, Pacifica Rugby and the Lloyd McDermott Rugby Development Team.

With so many jerseys, so many friendships and so many beautiful memories in such a short time.

Felesha will be remembered not only for the talented rugby player she was, but as a much-loved teammate, friend and member of our rugby family.

This is an outstanding achievement and a reflection of your hard work, commitment and determination. We are incredibly proud of every one of you and wish you all the very best as you represent at the next level!

For any new parents wondering what Rugby 7s is, it is a fast-paced and exciting version of rugby played with seven players from each team on the field. Games consist of two seven-minute halves, making Rugby 7s quicker and more open than traditional XV-a-side rugby.

Players can trial for the following age groups:

• Players aged 10 or 11 can trial for the Under 11 Mixed teams.
• Players aged 12 or 13 can trial for the Under 13 Boys or Under 13 Girls teams.
• Players aged 14 or 15 can trial for the Under 15 Boys or Under 15 Girls teams.
• Players aged 16 or 17 can trial for the Under 17 Boys or Under 17 Girls teams.

Trials will be held on Sunday, 2 August at Holroyd Sports Ground.

Congratulations to our amazing players on winning the Spirit of Rugby Shield—an award that has not been won by our district for more than 40 years!

This incredible achievement is about so much more than results on the field. The Spirit of Rugby award recognises the respect, sportsmanship, teamwork and positive behaviour demonstrated by the players, officials and supporters throughout the tournament.

Every player represented Two Blues with pride, played with heart and supported their teammates. You have created a special piece of history and made your coaches, managers, families and our entire district incredibly proud.

NSW Juniors are seeking Expressions of Interest (EOI) for teams wishing to enter the NSW Juniors Rugby 7s All Nations Cup.



The tournament will be held as a single day event on Sunday 27th September at Eric Tweedale Stadium, Granville. It is designed to bring together boys and girls teams (U13 & U15) representing diverse cultural communities. The event celebrates inclusion, strengthens social cohesion, and aims to increases participation through an exciting festival-style Rugby 7s competition. Much like the Pasifika Youth Cup does in the XVs game.



The event is designed to attract junior participants from cultural backgrounds that have traditionally been under-represented in rugby, including emerging rugby nations and multicultural communities across Western Sydney and around the State.



Teams can be up to 12 players - The age groups will be for both Boys and Girls in the U13 and U15 ages. We are able to accept a maximum of 12 teams in each age division. Due to capacity issues we cannot offer any more age group options in this initial year.
