Round 2 is coming up quick. 🐍🌺

Three things to note for our junior players:
🛸🍦 Our friends, Swirl N Dip, will be dropping in on Tuesday night to serve up a classic combo of summer soccer and soft serve. (Sorry to our Monday night big kids, this is a Tuesday special.)
⚽️⚽️ Don’t forget some teams are catching up their round 1 wash outs on Tuesday. Check the schedule for details.
🎯 Our partners at Northern NSW Football will also be visiting on Tuesday night with a the Newcastle Permanent Kicking Target. Sounds like fun!

Looking forward to seeing you all soon. As always, if you have any feedback or need support please reach out to our committee online or in person. We’re happy to help. 🐍💙💛

🌺🐍⚽ Summer Soccer is underway at Metford. And you know we love a good highlights reel. 📹
Unfortunately, our juniors were washed out and our camera man was having too much fun in his own game to capture the first groups. But here is some of the action from our later teams.

See you next week, Summer Cobras! 💛💙

🚨 SUMMER JUNIOR GAMES CALLED OFF – TUESDAY 13 OCTOBER 🌧️

Unfortunately, all junior games have been called off tonight due to the ongoing rain and further heavy rainfall forecast.

🏟️Our grounds have been inspected, and conditions are unfortunately not suitable for play.
All junior games will be rescheduled, with the new dates and times to be advised.

We know this is disappointing (some children were looking forward to playing in the mud 😅), but the safety of our players and the condition of our grounds must come first.

Please note - updates for any competitions, including postponements due to weather will always be advised on this page at around 4pm.

Thank you for your understanding 💙💛🐍

⚽️🔍 Attention Monday Night Teams: We’re missing two match balls from last night’s games. If you had a ball go over the fence, or found one has accidentally made its way home with you, please reach out.

You can also help us out by returning match balls to your ref after your games.

Thank you everyone for adding to the great atmosphere last night. We hope you enjoyed round one!

See you next Monday 🐍🌺

🐍💙 SUMMER COMP - SENIOR GAMES ARE STILL ON TONIGHT! 💛⚽

At this stage, all games are going ahead as scheduled! As always we consult with and abide by Northern NSW's heat policy to ensure player safety☀️

With the hot weather, we ask everyone to please bring plenty of water and remember to stay hydrated throughout the evening. 💧

💦 Forgot your water bottle? No worries! Water bottles and Zooper Doopers will be available to purchase from the canteen. 🧊

We’ll continue to monitor the conditions, and our referees are aware of the need to allow adequate breaks for hydration.

Stay cool, drink plenty of water and we’ll see you at the grounds tonight! 💙💛
