A few tough matches for Jacob today as he was placed up a weight category into U/73kg. He fought extremely well winning both his matches and taking GOLD.

Times are approximate and may change depending on the progress of the competition. It is the responsibility of athletes and coaches to arrive early and ensure competitors are warmed up and ready to fight from the published start time for their age group.

Huge congratulations to our 3 club members who participated at the Fremantle Open today. Our team fought extremely well and came home with 1 Gold and 1 silver medal.

🗓️ Next State Training Session

Our next Judo WA State Training session will take place on Sunday, 30 August at Australian Institute of Judo (Unit 3/240 Star Street, Welshpool) 🥋💥

Session times
• Pre-Cadets (ages 11–14): 11:00am-12:30pm
• Cadets+ (ages 15 and over): 12:30pm–2:00pm

👉 All athletes participating in State Training must be current and financial members of Judo WA.
👉 Athletes aiming to be selected for the Judo WA State Team are expected to commit to regular attendance at State Training.
👉 There are no fees to participate in State Training sessions.
👉 No registration is required — just come along ready to train.

Judo is apart of the Sporting Schools Program. Funding is available to deliver programs at the school or at your local club.
