โค๏ธ๐ FROM BINAR TO THE PERTH WILDCATS! ๐โค๏ธ
It's always a special occasion when one of our Binar family comes back to visit!
Yesterday we had the pleasure of welcoming Perth Wildcats young gun Marley Sam back to Binar HQ, where he caught up with some familiar faces and presented our Founder and Executive Director, Adam Desmond, with a signed and personalised Wildcats jersey.
At just 17 years old, Marley is already making his mark in Australian basketball, but for us, the greatest success is seeing the person he's become along the way.
Marley first joined Binar as a 9-year-old, and over the years has been part of so many incredible experiences, friendships and memories.
From a young boy finding his feet in basketball to now sharing the court with some of the country's best players, his journey is something our entire Binar family can celebrate.
What makes Marley special is that despite his achievements, he hasn't forgotten the people, friendships and community that have been part of his journey.
And that's exactly what we hope to see from every young person who comes through Binar.
Not everyone will go on to play professional basketball, but every young person has the potential to achieve something special.
Marley is a wonderful example to our younger generation of what can be achieved through hard work, dedication, humility and surrounding yourself with good people.
We are incredibly proud to have played a small part in his journey and even prouder to see him continuing to inspire the next generation.
Thanks for dropping in, Marley. The doors at Binar will always be open to you!
Once Binar family, always Binar family! โค๏ธ๐ค๐
