Mildura Workers Bowls Club

Winners - of Nangiloc Bowls Club 4’s today our Workers Bowlers won 3 games. Thanks to Nangiloc BC all the sponsors especially IFix Mildura and the Nangiloc BC for a great day.

The Ladies Triples Day at the Workers Bowls Club played on Monday had 16 teams trying to win the money.
Ladies had to skip and could have men playing.
Some great games were played and at the end of the day Merbein
Team with Chris, Jumbo and Sophie took the day.

Sunraysia Classic 2026 - $30, 000 prize money subject to minimum number of entries. Men's and Women's Singles have been included with Pairs (Women's, Men's and Mixed) along with Fours (Men's and Women's). Entries close on 30th June, 2026.

As you are aware, Sunraysia has a great opportunity to showcase our area and bowling clubs with the above event.
It is disappointing when you consider there are 643 registered bowlers in Sunraysia and 70% would be 55 and older, which the event is catering for.

Entries are being received, however ladies’ events are very slow to say the least and if the numbers do not pick up by closing date 30 Jun, the ladies only events may not happen.
Worst case, you will play 3 games and the best case you may play 5 games and top 3 go into the finals.
We need all bowlers in Sunraysia to get behind this event, if it does not happen this time, we will not get the opportunity again.

It's not all about winning, but how many of us can tell our grandchildren, that we played in a world bowls event?
So, bowlers please get your teams entered by the due date."
