The MSP is the place to be this Friday night as our Under 14 Girls lead by Aiden McDonald make our first girls football grand final appearance.

Just 2-years into our program, season 2026 has seen consistent performances seeing the girls finish on top of the ladder.

It’s our time to don the green and bring the cheers to help our girls chase premiership glory.

‘One in all in’

Another great weekend of football and netball with some fantastic results across the board.

Saturday saw two teams book their place in Grand Finals with impressive wins from our Under 14 Footballers and 13 & Under Division 2 Netballers.
It has been some time since our junior footballers have experienced the excitement of a Grand Final, so congratulations to the players, coaches and everyone involved in developing our junior program. Your dedication, commitment and belief in our young players is delivering results.
Unfortunately, our C’Res and 15 & 13 Div 1 netball teams went down, but there is no time to dwell on it. All three get their chance for redemption next Saturday in the Preliminary Final.

Sunday saw our 15 Under Div 2 Netballers record a solid win to book their place in the Preliminary Final.

Our A Grade girls were right in the contest against Robinvale in the First Semi Final, eventually going down by just 7.
Congratulations to our girls on a fantastic 2026 season.
To see the disappointment on their faces after the siren showed just how much this group cares and how much playing for our club means to them. A few costly errors ultimately told the story, but we could not fault their commitment, attitude or belief.
From day one, under Christie’s leadership, every player has bought into the program. The growth and development of this group, both on and off the court has been outstanding and something our entire club can be incredibly proud of.

They will have a short break before we get back to work, learn from this season and come back stronger in 2027.

For now, let’s get behind the teams still chasing the ultimate prize.

Get around our sides at training this week and on Thursday night, let’s fill the Imperial Bar with the bar open and meals available.

Wishing our junior players invited to tonight’s league medal counts the very best. We will update our members if any success comes our way throughout the evening!

Today we trek to the MSP for another sunny day at the courts for the 1st Semi Final.

First up at midday is the 15 Div 2 girls followed by our A Grade at 1pm.

Coming off last week the girls are full of confidence, fit and ready to take all before them. We know our girls will give there all and leave nothing out on the court.

Let’s bring our voices, pack courtside and be with our players at every contest.
