Our Youth Engagement Services team is partnering with All Aboard Skateboarding sessions, Skate Australia, the Victorian Skateboard Association, FreeZA and The Y to host this event.

This is an opportunity to learn new skills ahead of the upcoming Mildura Skate Park Competition.
Skateboard and safety equipment provided.

School Holiday Skateboard lessons - Groms (aged 4-5)
This session is partially funded by Mildura Rural City Council until December 2021.
Normally $35, Pay only $10
Group lesson for skateboarders aged 4 – 5 yrs, who are new to skateboarding.
Lessons are 1 hour in length at Mildura Skate Park, capped at 9 participants.
Lesson involves learning the basics like feet position, balance & pushing, progressing at there own pace.
A few fun games to keep the groms happy as well

"More spaces for people to skate, scoot and ride are also included in this package of works. Terraced concrete steps and paths below the existing Mildura Skate Park will help link it to the rest of the riverfront precinct.
Works on the skate spot and water play area at the Ornamental Lake are scheduled to commence in early to mid 2014, pending planning approval and the appointment of a contractor."
