Tonight we’ll celebrate the achievements and milestones of our umpires, reflect on another fantastic SFNL season, and of course reveal the 2026 SFNL Grand Final umpiring appointments! 👀🏆

🏆 2026 SFUA UMPIRES OF THE YEAR 🏆

A huge congratulations to our three Umpires of the Year, recognised for their outstanding performances, commitment and contribution throughout the 2026 season!

💚 Boundary Umpire of the Year — Zane Breewel
💛 Field Umpire of the Year — Harrison Rogers
💚 Goal Umpire of the Year — Antonio Liparota

Three different disciplines, three incredibly deserving recipients. A fantastic achievement and a fitting reward for the hard work each of them has put in across the season.

🔥🌭 SAUSAGE SIZZLE THIS THURSDAY! 🌭🔥

It’s Grand Final week, and after our final training session on Thursday night, stick around at the SFUA Rooms for a sausage sizzle! 💚💛

We’ll have the BBQ fired up after training, so grab a snag, have a drink and enjoy one last Thursday night together before the big day on Saturday! 🏆

Thursday is our final training session before the big dance! Even if you don’t receive a Grand Final appointment we would still love to see you all there one last time! 🔥

Once the final siren sounds on the 2026 SFNL Senior Grand Final, we’re inviting everyone back to the SFUA Rooms to finish off a massive season together! 💚💛

Today we celebrate all the dads, father figures and mentors within our SFUA community who are always there supporting us — whether it’s getting us to training and games, offering advice and encouragement, or simply being there every step of the way. 🏉

We also want to recognise the mums who are doing both jobs. Your strength, dedication and endless support certainly doesn’t go unnoticed, and today is for you too. 💚

🏆 SENIORS PRELIMINARY FINAL 🏆

Today’s Red Cliffs v South Mildura Senior Preliminary Final saw nine SFUA umpires take to the field.

🏆 U17 GIRLS GRAND FINAL 🏆

Friday night’s Grand Final action continued with another four SFUA umpires earning the honour of officiating the Under 17 Girls Grand Final.

💛 Goal Umpires: Maree Moore & Yvonne Rowles

Grand Final appointments are a fantastic reward for the commitment and hard work shown throughout an entire season, and all four can be incredibly proud of their achievement.

A special mention to Yvonne, who backed up from the U14 Girls Grand Final to officiate her second Grand Final of the night! 👏

Friday night saw the first of our Grand Final appointments for 2026, with four SFUA umpires taking charge of the Under 14 Girls Grand Final.
