Officials play an essential role in delivering fair, well-run competition, and Junior Nationals was no exception.

TTQ Board member Jason Hocking served as a Deputy Referee, helping oversee matches, apply the rules and support the umpiring team—another contribution from a dedicated servant of table tennis in Queensland.

Thanks also to Peter Waddell (Deputy Referee), David Bernard, John Sheriff, Kenneth Wong, Shameem Tarafder and Karen Bernard-Mills (Umpires), and Lukas Kozak (Tournament Director) for their work throughout the championships.

We’ve rightly celebrated the outstanding performances of our players and coaches at Junior Nationals last week. There’s also plenty of work behind the scenes that makes these events a success.

Our Team Manager, Richard Weaver, is one example. Thank you for the time and effort you put into supporting our Queensland team throughout the championships.

Thumbs up right back at you, Richard! šŸ‘
