The wait is over โ we can finally reveal how the IBF Taom World Series will unfold in Cape Town!
Fast. Tactical. Relentless. And built for pressure.
๐ TWO COMPETITIONS. SIX TEAMS.
The IBF Taom World Series will feature separate Menโs and Ladiesโ competitions.
In each section, three teams will battle for the title:
๐ฆ British & Irish Lions
๐ South African Panthers
๐
Rest of the World Tigers
๐ฅ THE GROUP STAGE
Each competition will be played as a double round robin, meaning every team faces each of its two opponents twice.
That gives every team four group matches, with the top two teams progressing to the final.
Every match matters. Every frame matters. Every point could decide who reaches the title match.

Every match will consist of 27 single-frame shootouts, divided into:
Session 1 โ 9 frames
โฑ๏ธ 30-second shot clock
Session 2 โ 9 frames
โฑ๏ธ 30-second shot clock
Session 3 โ 9 frames
๐จ 15-second shot clock
The final session is where the pressure really goes through the roof.

๐ฅ WORLD SERIES ACTION EVERY DAY
Throughout the group stage, there will be IBF Taom World Series matches every day, bringing regular Menโs and Ladiesโ World Series action to the event schedule.
Expect international rivalries, tactical battles and high-pressure moments from start to finish.
๐ THE FINALS
After the group stage, the top two teams in the Menโs competition and the top two teams in the Ladiesโ competition will meet in their respective finals.
Two competitions. Two champions. One brand-new international team event.
