You've probably seen Vicky around Ready 2 Swim, but how well do you know her?

Vicky was a part of the Ready 2 Swim family a few years ago and has now returned to help out while Pjay is on maternity leave. One of the things we love most about our Ready 2 Swim team is that the friendships and connections we make don’t always end when someone moves on. Vicky is one of the friendly faces on our Customer Care Team.

🤝 What do you love most about helping our Ready 2 Swim families?
Seeing how happy the kids mostly are

☀️ What’s your favourite part of your day at R2S?
Having interactions with the kids.

💙 What do you love most about being part of the R2S team?
Everyone seems to pull together as a team should.

😂 Something families may not know about you?
I have been involved with water sports as a parent, coaching (squads) and official for many years.

Hollie has been part of the Ready 2 Swim family for ten months and is one of our passionate swim instructors.

🏊‍♀️ Favourite level to teach?
My favourite level to teach is level 2

💦 Favourite swimming skill to teach?
Paddles and kicks, I just love watching those little arms and legs work

🥰 What do you love most about teaching swimming?
I love making connections with the kids

😂 Something families may not know about you?
I’ve only just graduated high school

You've probably seen Grace around Ready 2 Swim, but how well do you know her?

Grace has been part of the Ready 2 Swim family for eight months and is one of our passionate swim instructors.

🏊‍♀️ Favourite level to teach?
Either Level 2 or Level 4, I just can’t choose between them

💦 Favourite swimming skill to teach?
Torpedoes and probably frog legs (Breaststroke)

🥰 What do you love most about teaching swimming?
It's such a rewarding position to be able to watch all of these kids grow in confidence in their swimming and in themselves. I also love getting to hear about their days at school and throughout the week it’s always the highlight of my day.

😂 Something families may not know about you?
I've only just graduated high school!!

Tatiana has been part of the Ready 2 Swim family for Eight Months and is one of our passionate swim instructors and is on the Customer Care Team.

🏊‍♀️ Favourite level to teach?
My favourite level to teach has to be baby 2 and level 1

💦 Favourite swimming skill to teach?
Although I love a baby 2 and level 1, my favourite swimming skill to teach is a torpedo

🥰 What do you love most about teaching swimming?
It’s really rewarding seeing my students progress in their skills and grow confidence in the water

😂 Something families may not know about you?
I’m currently studying primary education at uni and i’m in my second year

You've probably seen Cara around Ready 2 Swim, but how well do you know the person behind the swim school?

Cara started the Ready 2 Swim journey back in 2017 and is the Owner & Managing Director of the centre.

While you’ll sometimes see Cara around the pool, a lot of her time is spent behind the scenes, working on the business, supporting the team, creating new programs and making sure Ready 2 Swim continues to provide the best possible experience for our families.

🤝 What do you love most about helping our Ready 2 Swim families?
Watching families grow with us! I love seeing a little swimmer come through the doors nervous and unsure, and then watching their confidence, skills and independence grow week after week. Knowing that we’re teaching skills that could one day save their life makes what we do so incredibly rewarding.

☀️ What’s your favourite part of your day at R2S?
Walking through the doors and hearing the buzz of the pool! There’s nothing better than seeing our swimmers excited to be here, catching up with our families and watching our team do what they do best.

💙 What do you love most about being part of the R2S team?
I’m incredibly proud of the team we’ve built. I love that we’re a local, family-owned swim school where our team genuinely knows our swimmers and families. Seeing our staff grow in confidence and develop their own skills is something I’m really proud of.

😂 Something families may not know about you?
Even though you don’t see me around the pool as often these days, there’s a LOT that happens behind the scenes that families don’t see, from rosters and staff to invoices, emails, marketing and everything in between! And when I’m not at R2S, I’m a mum of three, with two of my kids keeping me busy running around to their multiple sports. So, there’s rarely a quiet day!

Cara is more than just the owner, she’s one of the people behind the knowledgeable, supportive and caring team that makes Ready 2 Swim what it is.

You've probably seen Krystal around Ready 2 Swim, but how well do you know her?

Krystal has been part of the Ready 2 Swim family for three months and is one of our passionate swim instructors. Krystal’s siblings have been swimming with R2S for quite a few years now, so it’s extra special to now have Krystal join our team too!
Another member of the Ready 2 Swim family who has grown up around our pool and is now helping the next generation of swimmers build their skills and confidence.

🏊‍♀️ Favourite level to teach?
I love all my levels but if I had to pick it would be either my level 2 or 3

💦 Favourite swimming skill to teach?
My favorite skill to teach is freestyle as I get to see the students smiles as they improve each week

🥰 What do you love most about teaching swimming?
I get to hear about the kids day and watch them grow and achieve their goals in swimming

😂 Something families may not know about you?
I have 3 siblings

You've probably seen Aizlen around Ready 2 Swim, but how well do you know her?

Aizlen has been part of the Ready 2 Swim family for four years and is our Supervisor, an instructor, a Baby Specialist and on our Customer Care team.

🏊‍♀️ Favourite level to teach?
Baby 2’s are my favourite to teach! They’re just beginning to get a better sense of water familiarisation and we get to see their little personalities start to come through

💦 Favourite swimming skill to teach?
Independent paddle and kicks. Watching my kids grow from just starting to then being able to pop up breathe on their own, a few tears have been shed during this transition

🥰 What do you love most about teaching swimming?
I love watching the children be proud of their efforts and also I love being proud of myself. Many of my kids I have had since I started at R2S, it’s a joy to still have them and watch them grow

😂 Something families may not know about you?
I’m the eldest of 10 with the youngest coming in February 2027

You've probably seen Daniel around Ready 2 Swim, but how well do you know him?

Daniel has been part of the Ready 2 Swim family for 5 years and 8 months and is our Aquatic Team leader, an instructor and on our customer care team. Recently awarded Swim Teacher of the Year at the Australian Swim Schools Association Awards of Excellence night.

🏊‍♀️ Favourite level to teach?
Level 6! I love running my classes like a mini squad class!

💦 Favourite swimming skill to teach?
Freestyle for sure! I get so proud when my kids are able to do it by themselves and see their perfect technique.

🥰 What do you love most about teaching swimming?
Building connections with the kids and families, being able to come into the centre and see the same smiling faces and completely new ones. It’s just so rewarding.

😂 Something families may not know about you?
When I’m not teaching kids how to swim or doing university work I am most likely watching some scary movie or TV show!

We’re so excited to welcome Jacky to the Ready 2 Swim family! 💙💦

Jacky joins us as one of our Swimming Instructors, and we’re thrilled to have her become part of our team. She’ll be helping our swimmers build their confidence, develop their skills and most importantly, enjoy their time in the water! 🏊‍♀️✨
