🔥 21 DAYS TO GO 🔥

THREE. WEEKS.

At this point, the countdown is moving a little faster than we’d like. 😂

In just 21 days, Macarthur Flames hit the Gold Coast for the 2026 Pan Pacific Masters Games — ready for a week of netball, questionable decisions and memories we’ll be talking about for years.

The excitement is HIGH.
The countdown is ON.

And there’s absolutely no backing out now. 😂🔥

Gold Coast… the Flames are coming. 🔥🖤❤️

15/10/2026

🎤🔥 FLAMES FAMILY… IT’S ALMOST TIME TO MAKE SOME QUESTIONABLE MUSICAL DECISIONS! 🔥🎤

THIS SATURDAY, we’re swapping netball bibs for bingo cards, unleashing our inner pop stars and discovering which of our members should NEVER be trusted with a microphone. 🎶😂

Whether you’re a 90s tragic, a Disney diva, a country queen or someone who thinks they can absolutely nail Bohemian Rhapsody after a couple of drinks… THIS IS YOUR MOMENT. 💃

🚪 Doors open: 5:30pm
🎶 Bingo kicks off: 6:00pm SHARP (fashionably late is NOT a personality trait tonight)

🚨 THE IMPORTANT BITS:
🎟️ Ticket holders ONLY – no walk-ins!
🍷 BYO alcohol and nibbles
🥤 Soft drinks available to purchase
🪙 Bring your gold coins for games
🎤 Bring your beautiful vocals (or whatever you’ve got)

And remember, this is a FUNDRAISER, so bring your competitive spirit, your generosity and absolutely ZERO shame when your favourite song comes on.

We can’t promise good singing, but we CAN promise good music, great company and some highly entertaining performances. 🤣

Flames Family, warm up those vocal cords. Saturday night is about to get LOUD! 🔥🎶

🔥🏐 SPRING COMP 2026 | ROUND 1 RESULTS 🏐🔥

WELL… THAT WAS A WET ONE! 🌧️😂

Spring Comp has officially kicked off, although someone clearly forgot to tell Mother Nature that we’re supposed to be enjoying SPRING weather.

The rain was POURING, the courts were soaked, the players were drenched and somewhere amongst all that chaos, we actually managed to play some netball!

🔥 FLAMES 01 – MIXED
🏆 WIN | 24–16 vs Varroville

Mixed netball is quickly becoming our favourite form of live entertainment. 😂

There’s genuinely nothing quite like watching the men on BOTH teams discover that netball is a sport where you can sprint at FULL SPEED… only to be expected to stop IMMEDIATELY.

Unfortunately, physics has entered the chat. 💀

Momentum? Inertia? G-force? GRAVITY? Whatever scientific principle is responsible, it was certainly giving several gentlemen from both sides a crash course in the laws of motion.

And on a soaking wet court? Well, that’s just adding an entirely new level of difficulty to an already questionable relationship with stopping distances. 🌧️😂

But amongst the slipping, sliding and occasional negotiations with Newton’s laws, our Flames 01 crew managed to pull off a fantastic 24–16 victory!

Eight goals clear, a brilliant start to the competition and several men across BOTH teams reconsidering everything they thought they knew about their own athletic abilities to stop dead still IMMEDIATELY.

10/10 entertainment. Would absolutely watch again. 🔥

🔥 FLAMES 02 – DIV 2 LADIES
🏆 WIN | 25–13 vs South West Warriors

WELL, HELLO LADIES! 👏🔥

Flames 02 clearly understood the assignment, delivering a convincing 12-goal victory to open their Spring Comp campaign!

Now, was it pretty netball? At times. Was it controlled? Debatable. Was it entertaining? ABSOLUTELY. 😂

With the rain coming down in buckets, we witnessed more than a few balls flying straight through hands, passes that had absolutely no intention of being caught and enough water spraying off the ball to qualify as a small-scale irrigation system. 🌧️💦

Catching a netball is apparently an entirely different skill when the ball has the texture of a freshly caught fish.

But amongst the slippery fingers, surprise showers to the face and occasional moments of organised chaos, our ladies managed to put together a fantastic team performance!

25–13 on the scoreboard, two competition points secured and approximately zero dry uniforms left in existence.

Not bad for a game that occasionally resembled competitive water polo without the pool. 💅🔥

🔥 FLAMES 03 – DIV 2 LADIES
🏐 FORFEIT | 0–0 vs St Thomas More

Now THIS is dedication… or questionable decision-making. 😂🌧️

Our Flames 03 ladies actually took the court with just FIVE players, ready to give it a crack despite being outnumbered and absolutely drenched!

Unfortunately, the weather had other ideas, with conditions becoming far too wet to continue.

Five players, pouring rain and absolutely no shortage of Flames spirit!

Not quite the Round 1 result we’d hoped for, but full credit to the ladies who showed up, took the court and were prepared to give it their all.

Hopefully next week we can trade the swimming pool for an actual netball court!

🌧️ A QUICK NOTE FROM FLAMES HQ…

Everyone is soaked, everything is wet, and the scoresheets are currently somewhere drying out.

So while these are our official-ish Round 1 results, I reserve the right to change the scores once the paperwork is dry enough to actually read. 😂

If your team suddenly gains or loses a goal, please direct all complaints to the weather department.

A massive WELL DONE to everyone who braved the conditions tonight — our players, umpires, scorers and supporters!

Two wins, one forfeit and approximately 400 litres of rainwater later… ROUND 1 IS DONE! 🔥

Bring on Round 2. Preferably with less swimming, fewer unexpected physics lessons and more netball.

❤️🖤🤍 GO FLAMES!

🔥 FLAMES FAMILY | 24 HOUR FIGHT AGAINST CANCER 2026 ❤️💙

📸 FINAL photo dump! 📸

What an incredible weekend of determination, community spirit and coming together for a cause so close to our hearts.

Our Flames Family proudly took part in the 2026 24 Hour Fight Against Cancer Macarthur, walking in honour of those we’ve loved and lost, those still fighting and those who have overcome their battles.

And what a weekend it was! 🥹

❤️ THE HIGHLIGHTS

🚶‍♀️ 17 registered walkers representing our Flames Family.

🌅 3 incredible Dawn Breakers who went above and beyond, completing the 20km+ journey from Camden Hospital, via Campbelltown Hospital, to Campbelltown Stadium before the official event even began!

👟 958 laps completed by our team throughout the event.

🌟 A special shout-out to Georgia Lee, who clocked up an absolutely phenomenal 105 laps all on her own! An extraordinary individual effort and a true demonstration of determination, endurance and heart. What an achievement, Georgia! 👏

📍 446,200 metres walked collectively — that’s an extraordinary 446.2 kilometres!

🎗️ 56 loved ones honoured — each name representing a story, a battle, a survivor or someone who will forever remain in our hearts.

💙 $2,165 raised from 60 donations, officially exceeding our $2,000 fundraising target!

But beyond the numbers, this weekend was about so much more.

It was about showing up when our legs were tired. Supporting each other through the early hours. Sharing stories, remembering loved ones and recognising that, while walking for 24 hours is challenging, it is nothing compared to the battles faced by those living with cancer and the people who love them.

A special thank you to our incredible Team Captain, Ami, for bringing our Flames Family together, coordinating our efforts and helping make this weekend such a meaningful experience.

To every walker, donor, supporter, family member and friend who contributed — THANK YOU. Your generosity, encouragement and willingness to get behind our team made every step worthwhile.

We set out with a $2,000 target, 56 names in our hearts and a determination to make a difference.

We finished with 446.2km under our feet, $2,165 raised and countless memories.

We couldn’t be prouder of our Flames Family. 🔥

Together we walked. Together we remembered. Together we made a difference. ❤️💙
