Our staff collectively has over 100 years of fishing experience, from fresh water for Bass to the oceans majestic Marlin. Here on the Sunshine Coast, we are lucky to have such a great choice of fishing: from some of Queensland’s greastest Bass and Barra impoundments only a short distance away; three large river systems and the Pumistone Passage and Barwon Banks offshore. We have exceptional estuary, snapper and marlin fishing right at our front door. A massive thank you to the Sunshine Coast Game Fishing Club for putting on a fantastic night all about light tackle marlin fishing! 🐟🎣

A huge shoutout to tim_massurit for sharing his knowledge and experience, giving us some great tips on how to get into light tackle marlin fishing, what to look for, and how to improve our chances of getting hooked up! 🤙

It was a great night with plenty of laughs, a few cold beers, some pizza, and good company. 🍻🍕

Also, a BIG thank you to Gary Howard for generously donating an awesome 6kg fishing outfit as a lucky door prize! 🎁🎣

Great to see everyone getting together, sharing knowledge, and enjoying what game fishing is all about!

Our Kids River Fishing Comp is on tomorrow! We can not wait to meet the 100 junior anglers who will hit the Mooloolah River for a fun day of fishing!
