Thank you for your ongoing support this year. I can’t believe it’s been 10 years since I started learning the craft of pod shaving, and that will continue for years to come I am sure.

So happy to have dropped off a de Lacy hand crafted bat to the winner of the Pink Stumps round of the Latrobe Women’s Cricket raffle. The funds raised went to the McGrath Foundation. Hope you enjoy it Rajani, and may it bring you joy (and lots of runs😃)! Hope to see you out there this summer too. 🏏

I got asked to do something I haven’t done before on a bat heading to WA. It was to burn a picture of a wedge tailed eagle onto a ‘Wedge’ bat. Pretty happy with how it turned out. Thanks to Joe for the wood burning tips and Rhys for asking me to do it.

It’s that time of year again and de Lacy Cricket is heading to the Merrigum Heritage Day to show how the art of pod shaving is done! It’s a lovely day out and you get to see how things used to be done, chat to makers and get to taste some of the goods too!
