The dads who throw down for hours in the backyard or at the Home of Cricket.

The dads who drive across Melbourne for games, training and everything in between.

The dads who spend hours banging in cricket bats… and probably fixing a few broken ones too! 😂

The dads who coach, encourage, teach, organise, cheer from the sidelines and somehow always find time for one more throw-down.

From the early mornings to the late nights, the car trips, the long afternoons, the grassy whites and the countless hours spent supporting our kids — we appreciate you.

Partnerships Coordinator

With a rich history of over 60 years in the local community, the Dales is seeking a motivated and community-minded Partnerships Coordinator to help grow its sponsorship network.

In this commission-based role, you will engage with local businesses, build strong relationships and secure sponsorship opportunities that support the club's on and off-field programs.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with sales, business development or commercial experiences who enjoys working within the local community.

Key Responsibilities:
* Identify and approach potential local business sponsors
* Develop and maintain strong business relationships
* Promote sponsorship opportunities and club partnership packages
* Work closely with the club Committee to achieve sponsorship goals

What We're Looking For:
* Strong communication and relationship-building skills
* Confidence in networking and business development
* Self-motivated and results-driven attitude
* Passion for supporting local sport and community clubs
* Sound negotiation and commercial skills set

As a Dales family, we are deeply saddened by the tragic and sudden passing of Ross Williams. Ross was a passionate advocate and contributor toward our women’s program. He coached our Stage 3 Girls Team, assisted our senior women’s squad, proudly cheered on our Women’s 2nd XI Team to a Premiership last season and played in our senior men’s program. His contributions are forever woven into the rich tapestry that is the Dales community – for that, we are grateful.

Words cannot express or console the magnitude of losing Ross, however as a family and community, we extend our deepest condolences to Wendy, Hannah and Amy – you are in our thoughts and prayers and we stand with you during this time of unimaginable grief, and beyond.

Rest in peace Ross 💙🤍

The squad have a trial match next month against NSW before the final squad is announced, with the National Champs being held in Perth.
