It's a pretty big day tomorrow as one of our all-time club greats, Sam Clark, plays his 400th club game.
A Hawk for life, there isn't much this man hasn't done for our club. We celebrated his 350th Senior game last season and now he runs our for game 400, 25 seasons since his first Under 17 game in 2002.
Sam sits second all-time for games played at Mitcham, behind only the late, great Ray Murray.
He doesn't look a day younger than when he began, and still plays like it too. No doubt Clarky will again play a pivotal role in the fortunes of the B Grade in tomorrow must-win Semi-Final.
Let's celebrate one of our all time greats, and get the job done!
Congratulations, great man! Our club is what it is because of people like you!

The weekend's results, thanks to Wilson Event Contractors.
A ripping weekend of footy, despite not all results falling our way.
The A Grade closed out their 2026 campaign with a tough contest against the minor premiers, Hectorville, but held their own and enjoyed giving a bit of ni**le.
The Bs held on for draw in what was an exciting finish, and with the cavalry back next week, should be fit and firing to kick off their finals campaign.
The C Grade ended their season on a high and gave 350 game milestone man, Adam Treloar, something to remember!
On Sunday, both our under 14s and 17.5s knocked off their higher placed opponents to fly into the second week of finals. With the Under 12s in action this weekend too, things are looking bright this season.
C'mon you Hawks! π€πͺπ»

On the eve of our final A Grade match of 2026, the football club is excited to announce the re-signing of Luke Ivens and Assistant Coach, Jacob Broad, for season 2027.
Luke will enter his fourth season at the helm of our Men's program, and with the 2024 premiership on the books, Luke is energised and focussed on continued success at Mitcham, with the club committed to what we believe Luke can achieve.
His assistant coach in 2026, Jacob Broad, has been a great addition to our footy program, providing a strong voice and drive to our senior men, and we are equally excited to welcome him back in 2027 as we seek to return to finals and take the next step.
Congratulations to both Luke and Jacob and we look forward to what next year brings.
Go Hawks!
