With the 2022 season just around the corner, it’s time this supporters group woke from its slumber to get around the mighty Green and Gold!
What a way to make a comeback than with a shoutout to Legends of Mittagong founder, Mittagong Legend, Cameron Arlington.
Not only famous for his left to right spiral pass or his ability to injure his hammy sitting on the bench. Cameron “SBW” Arlington also holds the records for the least amount of hit ups in a single season, with zero.
What he lacked on the field, he sure made up for off the field, with his big mouth. Rattling players of the opposition to the point that they would ask him to the car park after the game. Which often resulted in “Arlo” leaving most games in the 78th min mark.
Famously taught everything he knows as his coach from under 12’s to under 18’s.
If spending every Sunday on the lemonades with this Legend sounds good to you, msg to enquire about joining the Legends of Mittagong.

Unfortunately, due to Covid, the 2021 Group 6 season could not continue, coming to an abrupt halt which has delayed the debut of Legends of Mittagong until 2022.
Whilst the world is full of negative news, we hope to bring some positivity into your lives.
Our Members polo shirts and Members key rings are ready to go for 2022 members. Only members with key rings will be allowed into the Legends of Mittagong tent.
Without our amazing sponsors, Legends of Mittagong couldn’t get off the ground, so a massive shoutout to and for their contribution.
Watch this space for upcoming merchandise and specials leading into the 2022 season.
We hope all you legends are safe during these tough times.

2021 is the 30th Anniversary of the Mittagong Lions RLFC winning the 1991 Group 6 Premiership in both 1st and Reserve Grades. The Club was ultimately awarded the Clayton Cup for their outstanding 1991 season.
On the weekend of 14th & 15th of August 2021, we would like to get as many of the players of all Grades together from 1991 to commemorate 30 years since that outstanding acheivement.
Mittagong Lions will be playing Oakdale at Mittagong Sports Ground on Sunday 15th August at 2.30pm. We would love to get all the '91 players together to watch this game and spur the '21 vintage on to the Finals series.
On Saturday 14th August we anticipate getting together for some pre dinner drinks and dinner at a venue to be finalised at this stage, perhaps Dave Elliott can find a copy of the '91 GF to put on a screen.
At any rate, we need to know how many of the '91 vintage would like to get together on the Saturday afternoon/evening to recall the glory days and take the opportunity for some of us to reconnect after a very long time. This is a partners included event.
Please drop me a line via Facebook in these message, Messenger or [email protected] to confirm. This is very important to do as we need to book a venue very soon.
Jim Parrett is also helping with getting people together from the Reggies as well as the Firsts, so please feel free to touch base with Pidge or pass anyone's contact details to him please.
Please feel free to share this message across the platform as we need to contact as many of the '91 crew as possible.
We really look forward to getting some of the old faces together as well as remembering our great mates Tim Moule, Warren Butler, Ned Ivins, Leo Cornwell and Graham Clack who will not be with us in person, but will be certainly be there in spirit.
Please let us know ASAP if you will be attending on the 14th and 15th August.
30 years has moved very quickly.

A supporters group of former Mittagong players that highlight and remember the clubs history, whilst also supporting the present players.
LOM’s is a separate identity to the football club, with our own committee, designed to support the club from juniors up to seniors both on and off the field.
We will have a members only tent/marquee set up at every home game so ex players from all generations can meet, share a drink, tell stories and show support for current players.
Membership is $100.
Which gets you a Legends of Mittagong polo, key ring and stubby holder.
The money is then raised to then help the club in anyway possible, be it social nights, sponsorship or to help if a Mittagong player is in need.
