Let's Go!

MANLY CAUSE POOL A CHAOS 💥

Manly exploded for four runs in the sixth inning to knock off previously unbeaten Brisbane North 8-5 and throw the Senior League Championships standings into a complete logjam.

Now we’ve got a three-way tie at 2-1 between Manly, Brisbane North and Ryde, with the Central Firebirds lurking at 1-1.

Only THREE spots available for finals entering the last day of Pool Play 👀

Hamish Mallam led the charge with three hits, while Jack Phegan and Jesse Hanrahan delivered key RBI knocks in the game-breaking inning.

Come along to the Pittwater AGM this Friday night at 6pm.

Pittwater BC is run by dedicated volunteers, and we need the support of our community to keep doing the great work we do. There are also several positions that need to be filled, so we encourage anyone interested in getting involved to attend and consider taking on a role.

PITTWATER BASEBALL CLUB - AGM
Friday 1st May 2026
Pittwater RSL Club - 6:00pm

Call for Director Nominations:
The Board of Pittwater Baseball Club Inc invites suitable qualified, and experienced parties to nominate for positions on the Executive or as General Directors.

As a community club, we rely on the support of our members, and as the years go by we need new people to join the committee as older players and their families age out of junior baseball.

Being on the committee involves just one meeting a month, along with a few small tasks, and there are a range of roles available to suit different interests and skill sets.

We currently have several committee positions coming available, and filling these roles is essential to continuing the great work of the club.

We all lead busy lives, but contributing even a couple of hours each month can be incredibly rewarding and makes a real difference.

We would love to welcome some new people to our committee. If you have skills or experience that could help in any of the following areas, please reach out to one of our committee members or email [email protected].

Positions available:
• Treasurer
• President
• Canteen Manager
• Grounds and Line Marking

All roles come with the support of our existing committee members.

A couple of hours each month can make a huge difference to our club and our community.

If you would like to join our committee please connect with one of our committee members or email [email protected]

ANZAC Day at Pittwater, from first light through to the afternoon.
We begin at 5:20am at the Lower Cenotaph for the Dawn Service. A quiet moment to gather, reflect and pay respect.
Breakfast follows from 6:30am.
Then from 12pm, the day shifts to The Deck.
The Muster rolls in with mateship, music and the familiar rhythm of the day.
2 Up from 1pm to 6pm, with the largest outdoor ring on the Peninsula.
Cold drinks, brisket burgers through the afternoon, and a crowd that builds as the day goes on.
Two parts of the day, both worth being there for.

Buster was a valued member of our baseball community, recently serving as U18s coach and generously supporting junior representative programs over the years. He was a passionate advocate for local baseball and gave so much to the development of young players and the game itself.
His passing is a sad loss for our community, and he will be remembered with respect, gratitude and warmth. 💙💙

It is with great sadness that Baseball NSW advises the sudden passing of a major contributor to our game Grant (Buster) Anderson.

He was instrumental with the formation of the Ku Ring G*i Baseball Club and the North Shore Club. As an administrator, he was also involved with Sydney University Club.

In the 1990’s, Grant was a member of the NSW Under 18’s coaching staff which participated in the Australian National Championship.

With the introduction of the National Coaching Accreditation Scheme Grant became an instructor, and he played an important role in devising the subject matter taught to coaches.

Most recently Grant coached at Manly State League and was involved in the Junior Programs and Junior Development.

He has left a positive influence on so many players, both juniors and seniors. Further, Grant has left a lasting legacy to our game.

Rest in peace Buster.

Grant's funeral will be held on Monday, 30th March at 11am at the Macquarie Park Crematorium.

WHAT A WEEKEND FOR PITTWATER BASEBALL CLUB!!!
What an incredible weekend for Pittwater, hosting the juniors grand final games, celebrating two champions, one runner-up, and wrapping it all up with our presentation day.

A huge congratulations to our Senior League Sharks and Junior League Barracudas on their grand final victories, and to our Intermediate League Whalers on a tremendous season, finishing as runners-up.

Thank you to Stuart Hanrahan a Pittwater Life Member for throwing the ceremonial first pitch.

To have all three teams reach the final game of the season is something the entire club should be immensely proud of. It is a wonderful reflection of the hard work, commitment and team spirit shown across Pittwater throughout the season.

Congratulations to all of our players, coaches, scorers, families and supporters who helped make this such a successful year. We could not be prouder of what all our teams have achieved.

Thank you to everyone who attended our presentation day. It was a fantastic afternoon and a wonderful way to celebrate the season. Congratulations to all teams and award recipients.
