⭐️ MUNGUNGO Vs THE WORLD 2026 ⭐️

We would like to congratulate Mungungo Sports & Recreation Club Inc. on another fantastic day, raising funds for charity and bringing the community together.

🍔 Once again, we had the honour of running the canteen, with funds raised supporting our Monto Cricket Club junior cricket program.

We would like to express our gratitude and say a massive THANK YOU to:

⭐️ Mungungo Sports & Recreation Club – thank you for giving us the opportunity to use the canteen as a fundraiser for our club and for another wonderful day.

⭐️ Mrs Colleen Kerr, and the Goody/Pailthorpe family - thank you for your generous donations.

⭐️ Kewpie Stockfeeds MONTO - thank you for filling our gas bottle and helping us keep the BBQ firing!

⭐️ Everyone who supported our canteen - thank you to everyone who stopped by, patiently waited, purchased something and supported our junior cricket program. Every burger, drink and snack purchased helps our kids.

⭐️ Our small but mighty group of helpers – a huge thank you to everyone who helped leading up to and throughout the day. A special shout-out to Jen and Amanda, who worked tirelessly all day, along with our other helpers and BBQ cooks. We are so lucky to have such a wonderful crew.

It is always such a wonderful day at Mungungo - played in great spirit, by our community, for our community. ❤️🏏

The Mungungo Cricket Grounds are all prepared and ready to go! 🙌

The draws are out and we’re looking forward to a great day of cricket.

We’ll have bacon and egg burgers ready for breakfast if you need a feed before the cricket gets underway. 🥓🍳🍔

FIRST GAMES KICK OFF AT 8:00AM!

The games will run on throughout the day, so teams playing in the following games, please be ready to take the field as soon as the game before yours has finished.

We’ve got plenty of cricket to get through and we need to make the most of the daylight hours so we can get ALL the games finished during the day!

There’ll be plenty happening around the MCG — cricket, laughs, catching up with mates, markets, raffles, auctions, bar and canteen!

Whether you’re playing or coming along to support from the sidelines, we’d love to see you there!

Most importantly, come along, have some fun and help us raise money for LifeFlight, Ridgehaven Retirement Complex and local community groups.

Get your team organised, get your cricket gear ready and we’ll see you bright and early at Mungungo!

We’ll be there bright and early serving up bacon & egg burgers for breakfast and will keep the canteen going throughout the day with all your food and drink needs! 🌭🥤🍫

Whether you’re coming out to play, support a team, or simply support the charity day, make sure you come and say hello and grab something to eat or drink.

We’re excited to be bringing kids from across the North Burnett together for more opportunities to play cricket!

Whether your child has played before or has never picked up a bat, bring them along to our Come & Try Day and let them have a go. Boys and girls of all junior ages are welcome.
