Our littlest Range team had a great day today at the Churches Carnival, three wins and as always they played their hearts out!

Well done to the U6 Range Raptors!

We’d love to see our Range United families come together to celebrate another fantastic season! 💙💛

Our end-of-season Break-Up is happening on Saturday 12 September from 10am–2pm at Montville Grounds, with plenty of time to catch up, celebrate our players and enjoy the day together.

There’ll be a huge inflatable obstacle course for the kids, followed by lunch and presentations. Our AGM will begin at 10:30am.

Bring along your chairs or a picnic rug, settle in and enjoy a relaxed day with our Range United community.

A huge congratulations to Kora, who has been selected to represent the Sunshine Coast Churches Soccer Association at the National Championships in Melbourne at the end of September!

Kora has been selected as one of just two strikers for the team — a fantastic achievement and one the whole Range United Churches Soccer Club community is incredibly proud of.

It’s wonderful to see Kora’s hard work, commitment and love of the game recognised with this opportunity. We know he’ll represent his team, his club and the Sunshine Coast with pride.

One of the best things about our game is that players come in all shapes and sizes, and every single one of them belongs on the field.

From the sidelines, let’s be mindful of the comments we make. Remarks about a child’s physical characteristics, even when not meant to be hurtful, can have a real emotional impact.

Comments like “That player must be older, they’re too big for this age group” or “They’re too small to play here” can undermine confidence and take the joy out of the game.

Let’s cheer for effort, teamwork, and sportsmanship.
Let’s build kids up, not break them down. 💙🧡
