Welcome to Raja Ampat where the islands look almost unreal from above, and somehow, it gets even better once you descend below the surface.

Just imagine it.

You’re on a liveaboard, far from the crowds, surrounded by nothing but tropical islands and an ocean that seems to have everything.

And then there are dives that don’t even sound real…

You descend into the blue and enter a 100-metre-long underwater crack, following it beneath the island until eventually you surface… inside the rainforest. 🌿

You start the dive listening to the sound of your own bubbles.
You finish it listening to birds in the trees.

Two completely different worlds. One dive.

And somehow, that’s only part of the Solomon Islands experience.

Manta rays. Sharks. Tiny macro life. Shipwrecks filled with history. Caves, walls, reefs and incredible visibility. Calm tropical waters and dive sites that still feel beautifully remote.

MEET THE LOCALS 🐙 | Mr. Octopus our teacher of disappearing acts

One of the most fascinating residents you might meet around the ex-HMAS Brisbane… if you’re good enough at spotting him.

Octopuses are masters of adaptation. They can change their colour, pattern and even the texture of their skin to blend into their surroundings whether they’re hiding, hunting or reacting to what’s happening around them.

And for such intelligent animals, their lives are surprisingly short. Most octopus species live only around 1–2 years, packing an incredible amount of learning, exploring and problem-solving into a very small window of time.

They’re curious, highly intelligent and known to investigate their environment, squeeze through impossibly small spaces and use rocks, shells and crevices as shelter.

Perhaps there’s a lesson somewhere in there: be curious, adapt quickly and make the most of the time you have. 🐙

🦈 Two last chances to dive with our seasonal visitors.

Grey Nurse Shark season on the Sunshine Coast is slowly coming to an end, which means we’re down to our last two scheduled trips to Nurse Rock: 06/09 & 13/09.

Despite their impressive size and rows of visible teeth, Grey Nurse Sharks are generally calm, slow-moving sharks and watching them cruise around Nurse Rock is one of those encounters that never quite feels ordinary.

Soon, they’ll move on with their seasonal migration, and we’ll have to wait until next season to welcome them back.

So if you’ve been waiting to see them, photograph them, or simply spend one more dive sharing the water with these incredible animals… this is your chance.
