Postponed!🌧
1st November....it's ON! 💪

Due to the predicted weather this Saturday we made the decision to move the date to November 1st.
Hopefully everyone can still attend this date and potentially allow more teams to join.

GYMPIE GOLD RUSH CARNIVAL! DOUBLE RUNNERS-UP THANK YOU!

What a day for our Reds at the Gympie Gold Rush Carnival! ☀️

Two of our teams battled it out in a scorching 30-degree heat, and BOTH came away as RUNNERS-UP in their respective age groups!

What an incredible effort, players! You showed determination, teamwork and true Reds spirit in some seriously hot conditions. We are SO proud of you all!

A huge thank you to our coaches, managers, umpires and parents for giving up your time to support our players and make days like this possible.

And a VERY special shout-out to CLAIRE!

From lugging gazebos around, organising uniforms for all the girls and then taking home a mountain of sweaty uniforms to wash at the end of a long, hot day… THAT is a volunteer going above and beyond! 👏

We see you, Claire, and we appreciate you!

Two teams. Two runners-up finishes. One very proud Reds family!

GREAT DAY, REDS!

Hey guys!

Our final Reds email for 2026 went out yesterday, however it seems to be landing in some spam folders.

Could you please kindly check your spam/junk folder for it? It includes the President’s Report, team photos, committee updates and vacant positions.

🚨ATTENTION DADS OF MOOLOOLABA REDS! 🚨

You’ve spent years yelling from the sideline…
NOW IT’S YOUR TURN!

GET ON THE COURT AND BRING IT FOR THE Dads Of Netball CARNIVAL - OCTOBER 24TH!

Think you can shoot?
Think you can run?
Remember what “pivot” means?

Can you survive a full game without pulling a hamstring?
Well… there’s only one way to find out!

And because we obviously can’t be trusted to manage ourselves…
👀 SPECIAL COACHES!

Let’s just say… the dads might finally get a taste of what it’s like to be coached, managed and told what to do!

NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY!
FITNESS OPTIONAL!
BRAGGING RIGHTS ESSENTIAL!

Let's start assembling a team or 2, practising your passes and stretching those hammies NOW!

🔥 Who’s brave enough to put their hand up?
🔥 Who’s going to be the first dad to claim an injury?
🔥 And most importantly… WHO’S GOING TO WIN?

Mooloolaba Reds - Dads, your time has come!
And you KNOW we will ALL be there to cheer you on!!

🐯❤️ MEET ROARY! ❤️🐯

The votes are in and our cheeky new Reds mascot officially has a name…

ROARY!

Thank you to everyone who threw a name into the mix and cast their vote, we think 'Roary the Reds Tiger' has a pretty great ring to it!

And congratulations to Brodie Van Den Dungen, randomly selected from everyone who voted for the winning name!

Brodie now gets the VERY important job of deciding who will be the first person to don the Roary costume at our next big event!

Welcome to the family, ROARY!
We have a feeling you're going to be a whole lot of fun!
