📢 Important Update – Ride Day Date Change🏁

A huge thank you to everyone who came down and helped at July's first working bee, and to everyone who joined us for our first July Ride Park Day. We made fantastic progress around the club, and there's still plenty more to tick off our list as we continue getting the grounds and track ready.

To allow for more track work on Saturday, we've made a small change to this coming weekend's schedule.

🛠 Working Bees
📅 Friday 24th & Saturday 25th July
⏰ From 8:00 am onwards

🏍 Ride Park Day
📅 Sunday 26th July (changed from Saturday)
⏰ 9:00 am – 1:00 pm

We'd love to see as many helpers as possible at the working bees. Every pair of hands makes a huge difference, and the more we can get done together, the better our facilities will be for everyone.

We got through an incredible amount of work, and it's all thanks to the time and effort of our amazing volunteers. Every job completed brings us one step closer to ticking off our works list and getting the club ready for events.

It's all hands on deck as we continue working towards bringing racing back to the Moranbah Junior Motocross Club!

We have plenty of work to do around the track and grounds, and we'd love as many helpers as possible to come down and lend a hand. Every bit of help gets us one step closer to hosting racing again.

⭐ Volunteer at a Working Bee and ride FREE!

(Riders without a current MQ Licence are still required to pay the compulsory $10 MQ Insurance Levy per ride day.)

📢 Ride Day Nominations
Nominations for both Ride Park Days will open on Monday 13 July on Ridernet.
If you are volunteering at one of our Working Bees, please DO NOT nominate yourself.

Instead, come and see Secretary - Cara (the lady with the red hair) at the track, and I'll organise your FREE volunteer nomination. If you don't hold a current MQ Licence, you'll simply need to edit your nomination afterwards to add the compulsory $10 MQ Insurance Levy.

Our committee has been working hard behind the scenes and we're currently putting together a list of everything that needs to be completed before we can hold a Club Day and be part of the CH Rounds calendar.

Our proposed CH Round date is 24 October, and we're doing everything we can to make it happen. We'd love our members and the Moranbah community to be part of bringing the club back to life!

A massive thank you to Flexhire for once again supporting our club with machine hire. Their ongoing generosity allows us to complete the major track and grounds works that simply wouldn't be possible otherwise.

We'd also like to thank all of our incredible sponsors for supporting our club. Your contributions are helping us move closer to our goal of hosting racing again.

As we work towards hosting a CH Round, we'll also be looking for event sponsors to help cover essential costs, such as ambulance services and other event requirements.

🏁 Good luck to all of our Moranbah Junior Motocross Club riders competing at the CQMX Round in Dysart this weekend!

We hope you all have an awesome weekend, ride safe, and enjoy every minute out on the track.

If you're looking for something to do this weekend, why not head over to Dysart Junior Motocross and support our local riders and another local club! It's only a 1 hour drive from Moranbah and is a great opportunity to watch some fantastic motocross action.

Racing will be happening Saturday and Sunday, so come along, cheer on our MJMC kids, and show your support. We can't wait to see our riders out there giving it their all!

🏁 Moranbah Junior Motocross Club AGM 🏁

Firstly, we would like to extend a huge thank you to our outgoing President, David Fagan, for all the hard work and dedication you've put into helping get our track back up and running. Your commitment to the club has been greatly appreciated, and we wish you all the very best on your next adventure.

A big thank you also to everyone who attended our AGM last night. It was fantastic to see such a great turnout of members. The enthusiasm and willingness to help has given us plenty of confidence that we're on the right track to getting the club back to racing. With the support of our members and volunteers, we're aiming to complete the work required and hopefully be part of the CH rounds later this year.

If you're interested in lending a hand, we'd love to welcome more volunteers to the club. Every bit of help makes a difference!
