Moranbah BMX is a volunteer run, community organisation that maintains and runs the local BMX track BMX within Australia is now Governed by AusCycling, which is a joint governing body which controls all Bicycle Sports within Australia. For Those new to BMX, or if you or your child is thinking about trying out the sport, please done hesitate to send us a message or simply come down on a race night and ask our friendly volunteers who are always more than happy to help.

🌟 CONGRATULATIONS HARPER! 🌟

Moranbah BMX Club is incredibly proud to congratulate Harper Matthews, who has been named a finalist for the 2026 North Queensland Junior Sportstar of the Year! 🚲🏆

Harper has also been nominated in the Remote & Rural Sportstar category, recognising the extra commitment it takes for young athletes from communities like ours to train, travel and compete at the highest levels.

With this being the most competitive nomination year to date, it's a massive achievement to see one of our Moranbah riders recognised alongside some of North Queensland's best young athletes.

After a huge 2026 season representing Moranbah, Queensland and Australia, this recognition is something Harper and our whole club can be extremely proud of.

Woohoo that’s another term and racing done and the completion of our club champs! 👏🏻

Congrats to our McDonalds good sport award recipient for this week Hudson Lintott- for getting back onto his bike after a pretty nasty crash and finishing his race! Well done buddy 🤩

Also massive congrats to Myranda Allgood who won our Volunteer of the term raffle! She received a voucher to spend at Lil’s House here in Moranbah!

Thank you to all of our term volunteers, your help & dedication to keep our club running smoothly week after week is immensely appreciated
