In partnership with Mackay Regional Council, Athletics North Queensland is pleased to announce that nominations are now open for the 2023 North Queensland Championships, held in Mackay between the 22 – 24 September 2023.

Discover the hidden gems of the Mackay Isaac Region, a destination full of natural beauty, from the rainforest to the reef, to incredible inland locations. A perfect backdrop for our athletics Championships

Things to know include:

🏫Accommodation and flights are running out – get in now
📅The first event will commence at 8am on Friday 22nd September
🇦🇺This is a qualifier event for the 2023 All Schools Championships (north Qld schools) and 2024 National Championships
👫Over 750 athletes (can we get over 800 in 2023 🧐)

The first ANQ regional carnival for the year is ready to roll with the event information booklet ready and registration links now open.

The event is for ages 4 and above and all abilities, and we invite athletes to a great weekend of track and field competition to be held at the Mackay Aquatic and Recreation Complex.
