Foxy Doc Equestrian

As we come to the end of my Holiday Workshops, it’s with great regret i announce the relocation of Foxy Doc Equestrian.

Back in March, my father unexpectedly passed away. This left our family owned Sheep and Beef station unattended while we all came to terms with the loss.

To continue tradition, and keep the station within our family line, my little family and i will be relocating there to continue its operations.

I cannot thank everyone enough for your support, whether it was coming to a workshop, a regular lesson or even joining my waitlist. A big thank you to Bob at the 5 Mile Equestrian Centre for allowing me to use the space, your generosity and kindness is something i will cherish forever.

Whilst I am moving, i’m hopeful this isn’t the end of Foxy Doc offering services in Moranbah.

Ive seen a few posts of people looking for kids holiday activities and with my current Holiday Workshops being fully booked in a flash, i’m wondering if there’s enough interest to open up some more dates?

They will likely be on the 12th and/or 19th of April. To go ahead i’ll need enough numbers!

Looking for something to occupy the kids these holidays? Then look no further!

I’m so excited to announce we will be offering SCHOOL HOLIDAY WORKSHOPS for kids aged 5-12 this April!

On top of a 30min private riding lesson, the aspiring horse people will enjoy a jam packed schedule learning about many wild and wonderful things including:
🐴 Parts of the Horse
🐴 Horse Behaviour
🐴 Tack and Equipment
🐴 Grooming
🐴 Equine Related Arts and Crafts

Workshops will run from 8am - 12pm on the 7th (BOOKED OUT), 8th (2 left), 14th (1 left) and 15th (1 left) of April. Limited availability, first in best dressed! 🩵

A very exciting opportunity has popped up within Foxy Doc Equestrian! To be able to assist us, you would need to:

✅ Be an experienced horse person
✅ Already have or be able/willing to obtain a Blue Card
✅ Experience with small groups of children aged 5-14yrs old
✅ Ability to follow direction
✅ Be safety conscious and risk aware

All curriculum will be provided along with materials to teach. If you’d like to learn more, message the page and we can chat! 🩵
