🏋️‍♀️ TRAINER TIP: HOW TO NAIL YOUR RDL! 🍑
One of our most requested exercises … the Romanian Deadlift (RDL)!
Here’s how to get the movement right 👇
1️⃣ Feet hip-width apart
Set your feet comfortably underneath your hips.
2️⃣ Slight bend in the knees
Keep a soft bend, don’t squat the movement.
3️⃣ Set your shoulders
Keep your chest proud and shoulders pulled back.
4️⃣ Hinge & reach
Push your hips back as you slowly lower the weight towards your toes. Aim for around mid-shin you should feel a nice stretch through your hamstrings.
💡 TIP: Keep the weight close to your body and think about pushing your hips back rather than reaching down.
5️⃣ Stand tall & squeeze!
Drive your hips forward and slowly come back up. At the top, squeeze those glutes! 🍑

After 3 amazing years, it’s time to say a very big farewell to our wonderful team lead Pami! 💜

Pami has been such a valued part of our team over the past three years, and we’re so grateful for all the hard work, laughs, memories and positive impact she has brought along the way. Three years is a long time to be part of a team, and Pami has certainly left her mark on the club and on the people around her. She will be very missed by the whole team, but we’re also so excited to see what this next chapter brings for her!

Thank you for everything, Pami! We’ve loved having you as part of our Planet Fitness family and wish you nothing but the absolute best for whatever comes next. 💜🫶

A massive congratulations to our July Member of the Month, Fiona! 🥳💜

Fiona has been absolutely smashing it lately! She’s been incredibly consistent, showing up to classes, getting involved and giving 100% every single time.
And of course, we can’t forget Fiona’s signature cheeky comments, little complaints and attempts to negotiate her way out of an exercise 😂 but despite all the playful protesting, she ALWAYS gets it done! 💪🔥

🔥 PLANK CHALLENGE CHAMPIONS! 🔥

A HUGE congratulations to our plank challenge winners, Alex W. & Louise Q.! 🏆👏

💪 Alex absolutely smashed it with a MASSIVE 19 minutes & 09 seconds at 69 years young!
When we asked Alex how he managed it, his advice was simple: “It’s more mental than physical.”
Alex also shared that doing regular long walks with a heavy bag helped him build his core and back strength; clearly, it’s paying off!

👑 Louise took out the ladies’ challenge with an incredible 4 minutes & 07 seconds!
A massive WELL DONE to everyone who jumped in, gave it a go and pushed themselves. Whether you held for 30 seconds or 19 minutes, you should be proud of yourself! ❤️

Stop waiting to feel motivated.

Yep. We said it. 👀

Motivation is great… when it shows up. 😂

But sometimes the hardest part of your workout is simply getting through the front doors.

So make it easy on yourself:

👟 Put your gym clothes out the night before
🎧 Make a playlist you actually LOVE
💧 Bring your water bottle
🏋️‍♀️ Pick a workout you enjoy
💜 And remember — a 30-minute workout is ALWAYS better than a workout you never started!

You don’t need to smash every workout.
You just need to keep showing up.
